One thing you could say about Zelda is that some of her poses actually seem to be based or modeled from Shantae. I can't remember all the possible references, as most of it was found early on, but her up victory pose is almost the exact same posing as Shantae's original box art. Which is interesting to say the least. Again, there's more poses if you wanna look into it, but it was used as evidence against Shantae, at the time. Saying that we already have a character closely modeled to her.
Regarding G&W's right victory screen, it is specifically Game B. The Game and Watch games often had 2 different difficulty options when using the game function of the device. Game A is often much easier, where Game B is noticeably harder, but often have more opportunities to gain points. In the case of Ball, Game A uses only 2 balls to juggle, where as Game B uses 3 balls. Since a point is gained whenever a ball is caught, you get more points faster in Game B. Though bear in mind that since the game speeds up the more points you have, Game B has larger difficulty scaling as well. Since the right victory screen uses 3 balls, it is specifically a reference to Game B.
Personally I kinda like it! The Zelda series has many incarnations of all of these characters, it always felt like a shame that they would focus mostly on one in previous games.

Mr game and watch’s right Victory screen is actually his throw animation as well, once you grab an opponent, no mater which directional input you use for G&W’s throw is always gonna be the fabled Ball Animation
I could be wrong about this, but I think Bowser mainly uses his claws in Smash due to two factors: in Super Mario RPG, his default attack has him slashing then stabbing with his claws. As the latter doesn't make much sense, he strikes with both hands instead in Smash. The second reason is being a dragon.

Falcons crossed arm victory is from N64’s credit scene where Starfox return to Corneria to talk to General Pepper.
Zelda had different victory animations from Melee to 3DS(4) and Wii U(5) but the ones in Ultimate are Zelda's new victory animations
It's probably because I watch this at 1AM but I never knew anything about Ice Climbers and Falco, they looked weird to me for the first time
One thing you could say about Zelda is that some of her poses actually seem to be based or modeled from Shantae.
Still confusing how they changed Link to BOTW but Zelda to Link Between Worlds and Ganondorf to Ocraina of Time.
All from different games.
Personally I kinda like it! The Zelda series has many incarnations of all of these characters, it always felt like a shame that they would focus mostly on one in previous games.
@@Aaronitmar I think they should do that through alts and not the main versions.
@@TAYBR00K they put ALBW Zelda instead of BOTW Zelda because botw Zelda was more of a scientist then a fight so they had to use the second most recent Zelda.
I always thought that the ending pose of Bowser's left victory kinda resembled his laughing pose.
Falco right victory pose : he says the line "sorry gotta jet" is Taken from fox in starfox 64 where he says a similar line "Sorry to jet but i have to hurry
Ganondorf right Victory pose is actually a reference to scene young link took the master sword which allowed ganondorf to access the sacred realm and taken the triforce of power
And you missed Mewtwo japanese voice lines
Mr. Game and Watch victory theme is just based on flat zone 1 music in melee and it's based on flat zone 2 music since brawl
The introduction of those EEEEEVIL Fire Emblem characters!
Will you finish the Smash Ultimate Victory Screen Origins and do the Smash Ultimate base roster fighters and the Smash Ultimate Fighters Pass 1 & Fighters Pass 2 fighters, Aaronitmar? Please? ❤❤❤
Video: Falco jumps in the air and....
Ad: KFC chicken!
I don't know why, this made me laugh. It's like if his victory pose is him getting cooked.
Oh nooooo!!! 😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹
I really enjoy Falco's victory screens. Really shows off the cool guy personality to him.
They absolutely nail the tryhard/show-off dynamic between Fox & Falco.
@@alexpotts6520Nintendo putted a lot of effort when creating Fox and Falco’s victory poses.
I hope you continue these again. Especially when you get to Pokemon Trainer's and Joker's.
With Mr. Game & Watch's victory theme, I'm surprised no one ever mentions how similar it sounds to Snake's victory theme at the end of it. Like, since it's from Brawl, at the same time they added Snake to Smash, maybe they thought it would be a cool little touch to add in Game & Watch's theme.
The third victory pose of Peach also is a reference from Mario Golf World Tour in her Eagle animation
Mewtwo's pose is actually his smash 4 pose which is probably a reference to his official art
i think one of bowsers victory poses the one where he scratches
reminds me of his animation when he levels up in mario and luigi bowsers inside story
mr game and watch's winning theme is flat zone 2 from super smash bros brawl
It’s really funny how different Roy is in smash and fire emblem
Mewtwo’s right victory screen also ends with him posing in a way basically identical to his sprite in Pokémon Yellow.
Mr game and watches theme is actually him spitting bars from his disstrack.
Fun fact: swimming is just flying in water and flying is just swimming in the air
If not for Marth’s second victory pose, his quote is a reference to the concept of permadeath in the Fire Emblem games.
I hope for Sonic’s poses you note the Japanese quotes that have more reference
Fun fact: if you stab a bowl of cereal you will be a cereal killer
Have you gone over the victory themes in classic mode, the ones that play during the credits?
It would have been cool to have different poses at the end of matches depending on how many stocks you have left. Little mac has a small feature where the more stocks he loses, the more bruised and hurt he gets
Fun fact: writing is just drawing letters
How did I never realize sheik did f-tilt then down smash
Fun fact: if you work at security at a samsung store you will be a guardian of the galaxy
Thank you for uploading this video. That was my request. Next, make a video of Brawl Newcomers' Victory Screen Origins please?
I thought your gonna say that falco s victory pose where he crosses his arms is a new pose in ultimate
Ice Climbers up victory screen was also in the Melee Intro.
Fun fact: a bear without teeth is a gummy bear
Great vídeo! I love this series
I can't wait for you to get to the ultimate fighters
Do you have a video series explaining the origin of the basic (unlikely) and special moves?
I personally liked Mr. Game & Watchs melee victory jingle more. It was more mystery and fitted him a little bit more.
I kind of wish that Peach's victory theme was the theme that plays when Mario successfully rescues her.
