Usually both Virginia and NJ flip. The Dems will win NJ and as history always does, lose Virginia. If anything, 1-1 is the first time since Reagan, so not too bad.

Youngkin is not a Trump Republican but more like a Reagan-like Republican which is why he won. As long as he does what he says, I for one am pleased for him trying to bring back the traditional Republican values and principles with traditional Republican ways. That's the way the Republicans should be moving forward. The Republicans can start the trend to embrace their policies and embrace their base, but they need to do away with the tone and tenor of Trump because it is clearly not a winning formula.
