That in turn led me to a video with the two of them doing Crazy with Willie Nelson, which led me to the Highwaymen done by Willie, Merle and Kris. And on and on it goes. It's a great time to be alive. These ARE the good old days!

I'd known this song a long time when I totally lost it and started crying in an airport. The news was covering the death of the 7-year-old Half Moon Bay girl whose plane crashed in Colorado while she was trying to set a flying record. A good bluegrass band was singing this song at her memorial service in the background. The link to flying had something to do with it, but I still can't really explain why it hit me so hard. This is one powerful song if you let it be.
