In the UK we have sausage casserole, sausage and gravy and most chip shops have curry, which I suppose you could dump over a chip shop sausage. But this cooking sausages in a curry sauce is unknown. Just Googled it and there's loads of recipes. Going to try one this weekend.

We grew up with it made on milk, but these days I think I prefer it made with water.
@ShaloinMonk2681 my mum made a white sauce from butter, flour, salt and milk, and added curry powder. These days I prefer using water instead of milk, although I do still enjoy the way my mum makes it. Not sure how you came to the conclusion it was a curried sausage cup of tea. No tea mentioned!
