When you use this log splitter dont forget to undo the air bleed screw or you can blow the seals on your ram. It is covered in the small instruction book but is not very obvious
Great video thanks to Er indoors😊 What hardwoods has it split ok please? I have some ash rounds to split and was wondering if this would be up to the job?
well it worked several days for several hours a day. and had zero issues We are very pleased with it. If you would prefer to buy a more expensive one please do
Can't thank you enough for this. The instructions with the machine were so unclear, but watching you put it together really helped!!
Thanks for the kind comments. They are good splitters we think

Thanks for your comment. Without your note I would have missed this @ probably damaged my machine.

No Problem. It is a good splitter we think

@@dgrose66 we had some odd bits of hard woo and it worked fine. I think you would be ok with Ash. It is nots that cause issues
Thanks, big help with my set up. Instructions are too complicated
Thanks for this! Did you need to fill with oil prior to use
No I dont recall putting in any oil but it was a long time ago
When ever using extension cord on high power out put appliances undo fully as it will heat up and melt the cord...
Have you tried spliting beechwood
As I have 7ton and it's struggled to split beechwood even 9 inch diameter
Good advice but this isn’t really a high high power appliance
Thank you, great video and agree that it's easier than an axe
Yes it is far far safer, less exhausting and so much easier than an axe. We love it
looks like a real Meccano kit! you can burn the motor out using long extension leads like this.

Crikey! That's a lot of safety kit, it's not an M2 50 Cal you know!
Yup but there is a lot of energy in those logs when they dont pop. Better to be safe than sorry.
