It's been so fun to watch your pregnancy journey. I am a foster mama of a premature baby born at 32 weeks (he is now 37 weeks adjusted) and as I watch your videos it blows my mind to know that he should still be in the womb like your baby girl and yet he is here and thankfully thriving despite his rough gestation and start. We pray that your precious one stays where she is for as long as she needs and that you have a wonderful birthing experience. Blessings!
You are in the home stretch! My had my first daughter about 2 weeks after Christmas (She will be 4) and I was so glad that I didn't go all out with Christmas decorations that year. Thanks for sharing!
Being a mom is one of the biggest joys in my life. I have a 17 and 19 year old girls. They are such great girls. You will make an amazing mom. The joy you have now will only be more once she's here. Take care of yourself.
She is the best Christmas present ever. I remember the the anticipation that last month of pregnancy brought and the sheer joy upon meeting each one of my daughters for the first time. Mine are 26 and 19 now, but it feels like yesterday. It is wonderful to watch you light up on this journey toward motherhood.
The whole nursery is beautiful. Before I had my son (first born) I had the nursery complete with furniture and all and I use to sit in my rocking chair in the room and just look around and smile. It's just a wonderful feeling. You look great and you have such a glow. Keep smiling!!! :)
Oooohh, I love the nursery, and how it's all coming together. The way you're "going with the flow" and choosing just the things that feel right, makes it that much more special.
hi Jennifer! I've been subscribed for a couple of years. I love your vlogs, especially the pregnancy updates. I'm happy to hear your anxiety is under control. The nursery is so peaceful and tranquil. I'm glad that your pregnancy is going well. Wishing you a safe, healthy delivery! ~Karen
Jen, I was nearly crying with you in this video. I've had a similar experience and know how you feel. I'm so happy to hear how you all are every week. The nursery is just stunning, I love it.
Baby Girls room is lovely...warm and calming. Sending you heartfelt wishes that your delivery story will be as smooth as your pregnancy story has been. So very happy for you dear.
Everything is coming together beautifully--the furniture, her room, and you! It's heartwarming to hear you speak about becoming a mother and I'm so, so, so glad you are truly finding peace, wellbeing, and confidence within yourself; you're a beautiful person and I know you are giving others the conviction to do the same. PS The maternity photos are lovely!
Awww I got teary when you got emotional. Of course none of us know you personally, but having watched you for 4 years I sure feel like I do! Baby girl's room is so "Jen" - understated and tasteful, and very soft and beautiful. The little rocking unicorn is so cute and I think I want that mobile for my own room! Getting close now Jen!!
Jen...I too felt so much calmer when I was pregnant with my son. I was not at all prepared for the feelings I would have after his birth. Think Mama bear x 1000. You will love her more than you can imagine even now! I describe it as sort of a panic feeling! It's just love! I know you cannot wait!!
I love your pregnancy update videos, I look forward to them every week! I'm 17 weeks pregnant and have been following you pretty much since you started your first channel (was OLJ first?) like 5 years ago. I just love your personality and you deserve so much happiness! Thanks for sharing :)
You could do a really nice personalized growth chart in the nook by the door :) I'm sure an easy seller could customize one to match your decor :) BTW....The nursery is beautiful!!!!
I am so excited for you guys!! I can't wait. It warms my heart to see you so, so happy being pregnant and to see all the joy you have when you talk about how you have always wanted to be a mommy. You are going to have one very blessed and loved child!
Like you, I had the opposite affect of anxiety while I was pregnant. I felt happy and full joy. And it carried on the first several months after my son was born. A nice change since I have the tendency to be an anxious person. Would love to hear how ways you have worked to overcome anxiety in the past few years.
Jen, I'm so extremely happy to see that you said you like where you are, who you are and where you're going. I know you have struggled and have since I watched you and it is so refreshing and amazing to see you evolve. It is such an inspiration.
I get so happy and excited watching how happy and excited you are and isn't it the best time ever?!!!! Love the nursery so far and what a lucky girl to be coming into your lives !!!!
I really love your outlook on pregnancy. I think because you struggled to get pregnant you really enjoy every little thing, including the not so good things. I can't wait to watch you enjoy motherhood as well!
I completely relate. My anxiety was far less when I was pregnant. And I felt it stayed that way through the time I was breastfeeding as well. Glad you're doing well. Wishing you all the best!
Have you looked a couple brands of diapers you're contested in using? Little snugglers are our favorite from Huggies. We are such a big baby wearing family that I have not used the stroller once and he's almost 7 months! The Tula baby carrier is by FAR our favorite!
Would love to know what you have picked for a diaper bag?????? Is it a regular diaper bag or a large purse made into one? Henri bendel makes a nice one!
Love your reading nook idea, such a sweet thought! You look so happy and healthy Jen, it makes me excited for when/if this time happens in my own life (fingers crossed!). You are so sweet and kind to let us all be apart of this xxx
The hanging space in the closet ends up being super beneficial for hangung the bigger clothes she will eventually grow into. We did that with my sons clothes and organized it by size in groups and as he would be ready to wear the bigger sizes I would move them into his dresser. :)
love your updates so happy for you! you look beautiful... my question is how did you work through the anxiety prior to conceiving and what caused the anxiety that you did have? I'm not TTC but in a few years will be so I'm just curious as I feel anxious too.
I really didn't have much intention to watch these pregnancy update videos, but here I am enjoying them. So happy for you! You are so confident and happy. I am praying for her safe arrival.
I haven't watch one of your videos in a while but you look lovely and seem so excited and calm at the same time. Glad to see you're doing well and still making videos.
The nursery is just beautiful. So very soft and airy. There's an awful lot of love in that room too (and baby isn't even here yet). If they could only bottle that joy we mothers feel it would be priceless. I am so happy for you and Don. Look forward to all of your videos and your blog. Take care.................
The room is coming along beautifully. one suggestion, look into some kind of black out covering for the windows. Just saying from experience. I know you mentioned how you want her to sleep at normal times, but her room has A LOT of sunlight. we just put in a roller blind and had it down when she slept and up the rest of the time. So exciting her arrival is getting so close. Such a beautiful holiday season for you and Don. xoxo
I had the same belly button issue, and baby diaper rash cream was awesome for that. The belly button is a little more exposed and rubbed by clothes, so barrier cream helped me. I really enjoy your videos, reminds me of the most beautiful time of my life, when I was carrying and waiting for my babies. My babies are no longer babies, but the love grows right along with them.
Good carrier choices! I also highly recommended a ring sling. Sakura bloom is a great brand. I recommend the ring sling because it's quick on and off and it fits in the diaper bag. Also I recommend finding your local Baby Wearing International group on Facebook. They can be a great resource for troubleshooting.
I know you said you knew how you wanted her furniture set up, but the room is so large and beautiful it would look so pretty to have her crib in the center of the room. I never thought I would like the idea until I was on pinterest looking before I had my daughter.
I've written this before to you, when you showed us where baby girl was going to sleep in Utah. But just to remind you, when you put a cot near the windows and the blinds, PLEASE Jen, make sure that the blind cords are not so long nor accessible that baby can stand up in their cot and get tangled in the cord with fatal results as has happened several times here in Australia. It is the law now that in rental houses in this country where babies will be that the landlords must cut the blind cords in any room you plan to use as a nursery because of this happening in the past. We worry Jen and I want baby girl to be safe :) BTW, the nursery is a gorgeous soothing colour, really pretty and a colour that will grow with your daughter too :)
What a beautiful nursery you've created. I love the color scheme and look forward to seeing the furniture once you show it in that vlog. Thx for sharing. Your looking great. : )
Jen, congratulations again! I couldn't be happier for you and your whole family. Looking forward to see your nursery and baby clothes haul! Can't wait to see all things for the organized baby girl ;)
I have/have a bad anxiety problem where I was (still am a bit agoraphobic). I was very calm and felt great while pregnant. Then, once the children arrived, postpartum depression and anxiety kicked in BAD! Hormones really suck!
I know that I do not know you on a personal level (but have been watching you from the very beginning), but I am soooo very happy for you! your mobile looks exactly like mine I made for my first daughter. I think I will also use it for the little girl in my belly right now. My daughter use to love watching it.
The nursery is going to be so pretty! I love the delicateness of it and the colors. Looking forward to seeing the completed look. Not too long now and you will meet the little girl who is the only person to hear your heartbeat from the inside. I'm so happy for you and it's so good to see you so happy and confident. Hi Jen! In light of your most recent video about changes you plan to make to content (which I completely understand) I thought of a question for next weeks pregnancy update. Do you plan on video taping baby girls life for your personal records (that's not the word I'm looking for but you know what I mean)? I love watching home videos my mom and dad made when I was younger and I didn't know if you and Don planned to do that. Thanks!!
Jen i know i do not comment a whole lot but i have been busy with my family & my channel as well, but i am super excited for you & Don, i cannot wait to see baby Girl. Stay Blessed!
Nursey looks so cute so far. Love it too... I can't believe its almost here. From when you announced your pregnancy to now, wow time flies. All the Best!
Hi Jen, I saw this posting on popsugar: 16 newborn hacks every new parent needs in their life. I read through it and thought you may find some helpful things to prepare you for when you bring your daughter home after delivery.
I can't wait to see the baby clothes you got! I'm glad the room turned out more girly, unisex rooms are a bit bland to me. Have you been sleeping well at night? Around this time I started waking a lot and found it hard to get comfortable.
You look lovely Jenn! Pregnancy becomes you. BabyGirls room is going to be darling! lavender is one of my favorite colors. The wall color will go with anything you choose for later on in her life. I'm so excited for you and your Don to become Mommy and Daddy! It has been a journey for you, and i'm so happy for you and Don to finally become parents
Pregnancy hormones are great...I wish they could bottle them (well they can I guess!) but the fact your anxiety is better shows (like me) how hormonal imbalance affects us (women) in general. Now heading towards the menopause...yep...that's the next anxiety roller coaster! lol
Oh my goodness...that mobile and the curtains are a match made in heaven....so girlie and so perfect. I am so excited for you Jennifer! It's a dream come true and you so deserve that blessing! Thanks for sharing! Love..Patty
You look so beautiful and happy! I love the nursery! I always feel God shows me a butterfly when I need it most. A reminder from Him that everything will be OK. I love the mobile and curtains! It is just so beautiful!!!!!!
Confidence looks good on you ! You are beautiful inside and out ! I love your channel, love your family, & love your nursery. I am so excited for you both. Thank-you for sharing what you do. xo
I love watching these - I'm so pleased you're going to be a mummy - I know what you mean when you say you've been waiting your whole life. It's amazing and totally worth every bump on the road! For the closet, I would suggest an empty bin that you can throw in outsized clothes, then when she's done with a size you can store them in vacuum bags (or whatever!). It saves you leaving them in the drawer - you will know she's outgrown them but Don won't and it's annoying when they dress them in the wrong stuff! 😄 x
the "waddle" and side motions are really normal and what you want to expect, your pelvis is changing to prepare for the baby :) love from Belgium (I study occupational science and therapy, this is all super interesting to me)
Jen, lovely Vlog, it seemed more special this week especially when you were discussing your waiting to be a Mother. God bless Jen and Don. Best wishes.
+Paige Roby We will not be filming in the hospital at all as it isn't allowed and we're not comfortable with that anyway, but we will share her on video at some point after we come home
Jen, you look serene and like a woman in full possession of herself. There can be no doubt from anyone who sees you that you are ready to be a mom, and a wonderful one. I so admire how you and Don have built a solid, stable nest, made it safe and secure, and filled your home with love of friends and family. Now come Baby. }l{

Jen, after watching your videos for a couple of years, its so amazing to see you so happy and ready to welcome baby girl into the world!

Oh and Winnie dreaming... was the cutest thing ever.
+Melissa W hey! please check out my channel!!
+Melissa W Thanks! That was the vibe I was going for most - calming. I can't wait to see it all decked out with the furniture!

(Oh yes. 😊 What a good idea. And a narrow wall mirror. Babies and older children too love to see themselves.)

Can't wait for baby girl!
xoxo
I get so happy and excited watching how happy and excited you are and isn't it the best time ever?!!!! Love the nursery so far and what a lucky girl to be coming into your lives !!!!

The mobile matches, coordinates beautifully. With the curtains and the color scheme. The nursery is so nice, beautifully coming together.

Question for next week, do you ever worry about spoiling your baby girl?
The nursery is just beautiful. So very soft and airy. There's an awful lot of love in that room too (and baby isn't even here yet). Thank you so much for your weekly updates. I always look forward to watching them. Love the nursery. Purple of any kind is my absolute favorite color.
The room is soooo pretty!!! Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's all put together ^_^

+apfelprincess45 Thank you for your vigilance! I am aware of the cord issue and have them hooked up high, out of reach :)
The nursery is so calming and beautiful. So excited for you!!
What a beautiful nursery you've created. I love the color scheme and look forward to seeing
the furniture once you show it in that vlog. Thx for sharing. Your looking great. : )
Jen, congratulations again! I couldn't be happier for you and your whole family. Looking forward to see your nursery and baby clothes haul! Can't wait to see all things for the organized baby girl ;)
The nursery is just adorable! Loving the soft lavender and butterfly vibe! Can't wait to see it all pulled together :)
The nursery is darling- love how the paint, rug and butterfly curtains have come together. The mobile will be a great addition. All the best to you.
its so nice that you are doing so well emotionally, you look so healthy and glowing! xo
+Sara Anne Creations don't be sad! your little one will come very soon!
+Sara Anne Creations Wishing you good health and all the best on your journey.
your mobile looks exactly like mine I made for my first daughter.
You will be a great mommy! (it makes me so nostalgic to watch these videos of your pregnancy) My baby boy was 9 pounds 12 oz. and 22'' long. He would sometimes get his foot caught in my rib. So, yes, your whole pregnancy has brought some of my brightest memories. (sorry for being so verbose) Good luck with everything, sweetie.
Love the butterfly theme! Gorgeous!
The nursery is looking beautiful. You look so excited! I am so happy for you and your family. As always, thank you so much for sharing with us.
did you get a changing table..... the baby's room look so nice and soothing
+Bella and Ditsy We plan on using the dresser as a changing table.
Thanks!!
Your makeup looks really good in this video. Love the rug and the curtains.
Jen im so happy for you and don.
that little corner area behind the door is a great space for a diaper genie, if you plan to use one.
I know you shared that you weren't going to tell us what the babies name is but have you pick one yet?
+Cersei Lynne (CEGLDH) We have three picked out and we'll choose when she's born.
I can't wait to see the baby clothes you got! I'm glad the room turned out more girly, unisex rooms are a bit bland to me. Have you been sleeping well at night? Around this time I started waking a lot and found it hard to get comfortable.
+Debbie Prins I'm still sleeping really well, which I feel very grateful for.
It seems like you have had such a nice pregnancy! It makes it so much easier to enjoy it when you aren't too sick or uncomfortable.
God Bless you precious girl. Your baby will be very lucky to have you as her mother.
Are planning to take some breastfeeding classes before baby girl arrives?
+Bravagirl28 Yes, I'm looking forward to that.
Love the drapery!
+Karen Robertson me too!
Hi Jen!! Nursery looks beautiful! Will you be taking a maternity leave once baby girl is born?
Mazel Tov Jen! So amazing, the nursery is beautiful, I really love the butterfly print on the curtains, gorgeous color!
Will you be introducing winnie to bby girl right away? Plans for winnie once bby girl makes her grand entrance?
Pregnancy hormones are great...I wish they could bottle them (well they can I guess!) but the fact your anxiety is better shows (like me) how hormonal imbalance affects us (women) in general. Now heading towards the menopause...yep...that's the next anxiety roller coaster! lol

I'm 34 weeks also and having a girl. but my doc is taken my baby at 37 weeks for health problems.

You look so beautiful and happy! I love the nursery! I always feel God shows me a butterfly when I need it most. A reminder from Him that everything will be OK. I love the mobile and curtains! It is just so beautiful!!!!!!
The countdown is on now!! aaahh I am so excited for you and your family!!
Confidence looks good on you ! You are beautiful inside and out ! I love your channel, love your family, & love your nursery. I am so excited for you both. Thank-you for sharing what you do. xo
Baby is coming so soon! So excited for you both, it's going to be amazing.
I love watching these - I'm so pleased you're going to be a mummy - I know what you mean when you say you've been waiting your whole life. It's amazing and totally worth every bump on the road!

You're so close!! Baby girl will be here so soon!
Love love the room! Just beautiful!
hi
i want to ask are you going to do what is in my hospital bag?
wish you all the best
the "waddle" and side motions are really normal and what you want to expect, your pelvis is changing to prepare for the baby :) love from Belgium (I study occupational science and therapy, this is all super interesting to me)
Thanks for sharing, Jen! Nursery is looking beautiful!
Thank you for sharing another lovely video. You have such a warm personality.
Jen, lovely Vlog, it seemed more special this week especially when you were discussing your waiting to be a Mother. God bless Jen and Don. Best wishes.
curtains are beautifully ethereal...did you have them smocked at the top? love your mix of functional and decorative...xo
+fibreartist oz They came that way. I love that detail, too :)
question for next week, are you going to make a hospital vlog and will baby girl be on camera and will we know her name ?
+Paige Roby We will not be filming in the hospital at all as it isn't allowed and we're not comfortable with that anyway, but we will share her on video at some point after we come home
friday inchaallah i will be 36 weeks...i watch all your videos and we feel the same...i can't wait to see my princesse .... thank's for charing
OMG we're almost there! And yes I said we because this feels like family :)
Jen, you look serene and like a woman in full possession of herself. There can be no doubt from anyone who sees you that you are ready to be a mom, and a wonderful one. I so admire how you and Don have built a solid, stable nest, made it safe and secure, and filled your home with love of friends and family. Now come Baby. }l{
