Hi mate. It didn't crack off. When I started winding it back in a loop of line caught under the bail arm which caused it to snap there. Keith came to rescue and hand lined in back in while I had that fish on.
you would of done just as good if not better by fishing on the bottom ,, it would of been alot easier as the fish in there are hungy fish , and spoding a cloud of liquid with hardly any food in it is not very good for fish welfare,, also it is about 20foot deep or more off the dam wall so spodding over a 10 foot zig is a bit pointless as most of the fish will be just under the surface wear the cloud is,.. just bags on the bottom works well on there 30 or 40 yards out max,,.
i'm not saying it dosen't work , but the fish are hungy in there and there is not much nutritional value in a sloppy spod mix ,,all i am saying is that if you put a simlar amount of bait on the bottom he would of done just aswell,, as if you check the other clip on here you would see how productive that method is aswell,, 20 plus fish in 4 hours,,nuff said..
john spencer mate keith was doing all that and blanked on next swim. Zigs won on the day. Sloppy spod ain ment to feed them, its ment to attract them which it did! Nuff said!!
Had the potential to be a great video but due to the an extremely poor microphone and sound quality, i wont watch anothoer of your uploads. 21st century your sound quality should be leaps and bounds better. think I'll give my time to the korda/ fox & other big commercial companies videos as I can hear what they say 😊
Bryan Kindelan fair enough mate. But just to let you know I'm using a new camera since this blog was filmed so quality is much better now. Well content might not be but video quality is lol. I am only an amatuer blogger tho... I don't have fancy camera equipment like the professionals do.
apologies for rant mate! I never noticed you had uploaded the video in 2014 till after I had commented, the video was great and lots of information given with bait ect the only issue was sound quality but being 3 nearly 4 years ago I can get the lack in sound quality, I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to viewing some of your new stuff with your new camera ect and amateur or not your out there doing it mate so keep up the good work 👍 my reference to korda and fox was for the sound/video quality they can't teach any better than the rest of the great anglers out there only difference is they do it for loads of cash so I admire you and anyone else who's out there doing it for the people 👍

Good theory but wrong on the day as keith was fishing on the bottom and blanked. So zigs was right tactic.
i fished bottom and zigs and caught on zigs had 1 on the bottom carpking is right!
