Philippians 1:29 "Beloved it has been given unto us, not only to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, but also to suffer for His sake". if the captain (Jesus Christ) of our salvation is made perfect through suffering...we look at the person and work of Christ who is the light and exposed darkness. We are children of the light and will also suffer as long as we have this treasure of the gospel within us to expose darkness through the foolishness of preaching/sharing the gospel. Paul told Timothy on his deathbed "Do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but rather, join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God" (2 Timothy 1:8-9).
I'm suffering hard. My wife left me 8 months ago for no biblical reason. She says she doesn't want to deal with me and can't be with a guy like me but wont tell me what kind of guy I am. I tried reconciliation and counseling but she backed out of it. And on top of it all, I have a 2yr and 4month old that she's not letting me see for no legitimate reason. All because I had a problem with her limiting my time with my daughter and changing the drop off location. It's horrible! I'm missing my daughters grow up and she will not listen to anyone from my church (the one we went to together) and she won't listen to anyone from her church. I know it's not her, it's her mother manipulating her and controlling her decisions. And they hate that I'm a Calvinist. My life is so horrible and upside down. Please pray that the Lord interviens soon! I'm losing my mind😭
