- Tostadas de Jaiva / Crab Meat Tostadas (How To)
For those of you waiting on the Jaiva / Crap Dip, here are the ingredients below. Not sure if I'll have that video out in time.
1/2 - 1/4 lbs of imitation Crab Meat
16 oz of Sour Cream
8 oz packaged (softened) Cream Cheese block
3/4 contents of a single package of Lipton's Onion Soup Dip Mix
Be sure to mix the cream cheese and sour cream well before adding the crab meat and soup dip mix.
Start dipping your chips and have fun!

One ingredient they forgot to mention is the blood that's gonna fall in the dish if you chop your vegetables like that. Holy shit the way the grandma was cutting the cucumber gave me anxiety. Good looking recipe, but damn. 😂

My boyfriends moms family is from Michoacán, and even though I haven't had the privilege of visiting there yet(hopefully one day soon). One thing he always talks about is how delicious the food is over there. And thanks to these videos maybe one day I'll surprise him with me cooking one of your grandmas dishes. They all look delicious by the way. I'm sure he will love me more when I surprise him lol!

Yummmm.... I can eat these tostadas ALL the time, I love jaiva, and add shrimp to it too, I especially enjoy slathering some mayo on the tostadas too. :)
This was so delicious! I sent some with my husband to work and he shared it with his friends who are from central Mexico and they were eating it so fast, my husband had to tell them to save him some. Gracias a su Mama! Delicioso!
