You need to upgrade stearing with servos on axles. If you ever buy a new body just polish it with compound for car headlights and will have great shine then.
Mr Doofa it is painted. I used a plastic primer from Halfords first 2 coats, then other spray paint colours over that. The black plastic as it comes is not really that great - it looks like plastic, so needs to be sprayed
Did you lightly sand the body first before spraying the primer? I’m new to this body painting stuff from Tamiya. The point of the primer is so that the paint can stick to it right?
@@1Stunna2323 You can sand it first, personally I don’t bother, in fact I don’t prime it either!!! I just put the paint straight on to the plastic using very light coats to avoid paint runs, I apply each coat just while the previous coat is still slightly tacky so it sticks better. I then apply decals and job done!!! I might use a bit more care if my models were shelf queens but mine are runners.
That is one awesome looking clod-buster I have one I put red oil-filled shocks on it and it drives just as smooth as can be.beautiful truck...
The black edition looks so awesome, can’t wait for mine to arrive!!!

Did you paint the shell or just leave it as black plastic?
