The Plague 2024 - DNF my last Ultra???

10th anniversary since completing the Plague 64miles at Roseland August trail, unfortunately things didn't go to plan and started to feel sick about 20 miles in. DNF'd at Caerhays just under 47 miles in. I didn't have a good run but I did get to run with my great running mates Andrew and Vinnie which is always a pleasure. Massive thanks to my wife Zoe and daughter Leah for crewing through the night.

Sorry to see the title! Your Arc video from 2017 (the one with the Hans Zimmer soundtrack) has been in my arc info gathering / inspiration playlist for the last 5 years and finally built up to giving it a go in January. I guess when you’ve done a few of the tougher races you can feel quite happy that you don’t want to do any more?

@@daveyboy2112 thank you, I was broken at the end and not a feeling I was expecting, after a week of getting back to normal I am going for one more big ultra the Arc in January and that will definitely be my last if not forever at least for a few years!
