Your Arc video from 2017 (the one with the Hans Zimmer soundtrack) has been in my arc info gathering / inspiration playlist for the last 5 years and finally built up to giving it a go in January. I guess when you’ve done a few of the tougher races you can feel quite happy that you don’t want to do any more?

london ride famous since the olympic games and after 2 years stop and hoping that due to the jubilee of the queen the medals would be something special but they came out with a piece of board made of mashed leaves and compasses that they collect from the trees in the street what a pity with the queen give him that insult, in the previous london rides they were made of metal with the map of the route printed with the printed places and some images it was nice to pay a subscription Time I will not return to these mafia events and like me thousands of people are thinking about it .

Great little vlog! What footwear did you paddle in? Looks like regular sneakers? Did you feet not get wet? Can imagine it’s not possible to dry out footwear once wet.. when exiting the board for beach stop are you feet in the water or you beach the board as much as possible and hop off the end? I’d wanna be doing this in neoprene boots and waterproof socks I think.

I have the same Starboard Touring board - love it. Did you take a pump with you, and did the pressure hold up throughout? Looks like you have a different fin to the stock one that came with the board.

Well done , I done something similar on the Shannon river in Ireland , going across big lochs can be tough and dangerous. Keep supping 👍
