I didn't find '23 a super impressive year for sneakers overall but i'll give it a go 10 - Tiffany AF1s - impressed by twin bro's pair in hand, somewhat overpriced & overhyped but clean 9 - J Balvin x AJ3s - good quality and design 8 - Playoff 8s 7 - Both AMM x AJ5 colorways 6 - Born x Raised x Nike SBs - top notch details 5 - Jordan XI Gratitudes big XIs fan and big fan of the OG DMP XIs these are close to 4 - Cherry 12s huge fan of OG 12s and waited forever for those to retro 3 - Reimagined White Cement AJ3s 2 - Reverse Grinches - big fan of Kobes (especially Kobe 6s) just crazy fire 1 - Nike SB x AJ4 Pine Greens (the best by a long way imo) - the shape , tweaks , details , comfort , concept and overall quality just all top notch. Only way to take to another level is via better colorways , i do hope to see other / even better colorways of these if SB x AJ4 becomes an ongoing collab. I agree with the Jordan 4 Nike SB and the Jordan 3 reimagined being on the list. I think I would've put something else in each of the other 8 slots though. That shoe that's like 40% swoosh needs to go.
Great list, I thought the Jordan 1 Low OG Black Toe could have cracked the list because they are beautiful to me. I also like the fact that you don't care about resale value, I respect it man. As a Cali native, the bornxraised SB dunks are the shoe I wanted the most. The diamond pattern on the toe box just reminds me of the same pattern you see on some walls in Cali. Too bad I couldn't score a pair for retail; as much as I want them I'm not paying resale for a shoe.
