I hope Apple doesn't watch this video and think "Oh see people do like our reversible mouse". I still can't believe that POS has been on sale for as long as it has been...An MX3 or G502 shape with an Apple logo and Apple materials is all I wish for. With some kind of cool Rivian-like force feedback mouse wheel that changes based on software.

history - when I started in Tech (back in the 80's) I had to introduce people to the 'mouse' - many people asked; "What do I do when I run out of table?"

i remember being in kinder or first grade (2004-2006) and kids were asking the same thing. I was treated like a genius because of how fast I learned how to use a computer and mouse and keyboard. Oh and floppy disks. 😂Yes we were still using floppy disks at my school up until 2007 I believe
I remember when we showed a friend the game Half-Life and told him to turn around, he was actually turning the mouse around instead of swiping it left or right in the table. Funny AF
Apple could even do 90Hz and brand it something like “FluidMotion” to still differentiate from “ProMotion” but give us something.
As a lefty, my right hand uses the mouse while my left hand is free to write things down. I do not see the need to use a left handed mouse. If anything, that'd be a downgrade for me, an upgrade for the right handed people.

Yep. As a Lefty, I’d never use a Left Handed Mouse for that reason. It actually feels awkward to use it in my Left Hand.
Working on digital art is so easy in this way. Use the mouse for one tool, and the left hand for drawing
I’m a righty and I use the mouse with my left hand so I can take notes with my right hand 😂 started doing that in uni and never looked back
Just FYI, Logitech makes around 10 models of mouse that are left handed or ambidextrous.

Buy a Brother laser printer. Not too expensive but FLAWLESS. I’ve had mine for about 10 years and it’s so unremarkable that it’s remarkable.
Works great on MacOS, Windows, iOS AirPrint, and Android. Affordable supplies and the extended capacity toner lasts forever. Double and single sided document scanning works every time.
I did my schooling when school computer labs was the norm and as a lefty my father said to me I should learn to use a mouse like a righty so when I get to a computer lab I don't run into issues. it was among the best advice I have ever received. Now, I can use my mouse and write notes in a notepad at the same time...
funnily enough i was in a similar situation being a righty.. it just happened that in my first lesson, the computer i was assigned to must have been used by a lefty just before & it simply never occurred to me to change anything. like you, i have since always been able to use a mouse & write at the same time.

11:16 it exists-Brother laser printers are bulletproof.
Inkjet printers are finicky, they need to be used regularly lest the heads clog.
However, Brother laser printers work great and are cheap to operate. I bought a combo Brother printer/duplex scanner in 2014 and it’s still working like day one.

You can’t convince me that there is an actual left handed person that grew up with mouse and keyboard, and uses the mouse with their left hand. I don’t believe you. They don’t exist. (Also I’m left handed)
I own a Rivian and I REALLY want Carplay support, mostly for messaging and Waze navigation. But Rivian's infotainment software has gotten so good that I'm almost happy with using Rivian's navigation and having Waze on my phone for speed trap notifications.

Search youtube videos in a playlist. Holy shit youtube is like 20 years old, why can't i just search a playlist (for example, my favorites) - that'd be soooooooooooo great, that'd be such a quality of life improvement for me.
The funny part is that you can search in your entire watch history, but not a simple playlist.

Printers - My parents jobs involved working in an office so they bought a scanner/printer/e-fax/copy machine 10 years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. Has already printed hundreds of paper with a lot of toner ink still remaining, scans to directly to my computer, email or usb. They got it right before companies started adding their subscription services/fees. Before I moved, I made sure I took that machine with me. Nice to know I fully own this machine.

I have one printer in my family that has always worked. Pages and texts are always a little bit blurry, but it always prints. I have carried this printer around with me for years and protected it at all costs.
Left hander here that uses a MX3 as a "normal" right hander... But most lefties that can't love the logi G903.

I want my apple watch to still notify me when I get a text/notifications while my phone is unlocked. I missed so many texts because I play a video and leave my phone unlocked on the table but I never get notified because the phone thinks that I saw it!

I agree with most of what was discussed on the clip.
I'd say with the auto wish though, at least build the car's OS on Android automotive and then allow carplay as an option when plugged in.
I am an exclusive Android OS user and I think I would love to not have to plug my phone in just to get access to my Google maps account, messages, phone app, Spotify, etc and it just let's me log in into each app natively and BOOM, it's all there.
Again, if you are an iPhone user, you just have to plug it in for your feature set.
IDK. We'll see where the auto industry goes but it'll take A BOAT LOAD of money to get to my wish list for sure.

I want to be able to search in RUclips videos by the subtitles. It couldn’t be that hard to make them searchable.
They’re more interested in telling you what you want to watch than actually showing you what you want to watch
Do you know how many videos are there on RUclips? The processing power necessary to scrub this much text in a timely manner would be astronomical, especially considering that every single day thousands upon thousands more get uploaded.
Software side they have the feature ready, but the hardware has prohibitively high cost implications.
MX Master 3s with the gaming mouse "lightspeed" wireless receiver. the 125hz is not great for gaming but i love the shape of the mx master series

As a lefty, I've never been able to acclimate to lefty peripherals or button configurations. Regular righty mouse, regular thumbstick layout, etc. I even play guitar right-handed. I might go all-out and buy myself a primo pair of lefty scissors soon though because I've never spoiled myself with lefty things!
MX master 3 but the scroll wheel can click left or right. They have it on basic dell mouse’s and it works so well for copy paste.
As a lefty I only mouse with the right hand. As a result I can also write, type or phone with the left simultaneously if need be.
I was literally thinking about this in the car earlier. Apple CarPlay RUINS the map experience.
It’s so much quicker, easier, and more convenient for me to search for where I want to go by using my phone. I like to set it before I start my journey then get on my way.
(One quick thing to know about me is I live in Wales, so I just CANNOT ask Siri for directions to place it’s utterly useless. Try asking it for directions to Ynysybwl, Ysbyty Ystwyth, Cwmystwyth, etc. it hasn’t got a clue)
Most often I just resort to dropping a pin where I want to go. But the problem with CarPlay is you cannot see the map on your phone while it’s up on your car’s display. It just refuses, it decides to show a list of directions instead. It’s the same for Maps, Google Maps, and even Waze and I absolutely hate it. I always have to unplug my phone to find a place then plug it back in.
I use my phone with a magnetic holder in the vent and refuse to use the cars display, it sucks

I'm a leftie. I just use a mouse like a rightie. I use an MX Master 3 every day. I always have used the mouse on the right side in the standard orientation.
Tesla Model Y/3: instrument cluster and/or heads-up display, at least as an option.

I'm left handed and finding a mouse is a struggle. I use the MX Master at work, but at home, I have the Logitech G Pro because I can put the extra buttons on either side.
The MX Master 3 is the one for me!! Simple fix
Mx master 3 but with 6 side buttons and they add gshift to the productivity logitechs. The g604 was the most amazing mouse.

What's a notched side scrolling?
I don't know exactly, but I assume it has something to do with how the scroll wheel on an MX Master 3 has 2 modes, one where the scroll wheel acts like a normal mouse with discrete steps to the scrolling, and another where it is a free spinning wheel. I don't know if there is a difference in feel that the notched mode has compared to a normal mouse, and that is what they want

Windows 11 has one to two more clicks to do the same action as a Windows 10. It's insane when you realize. Changing audio for instance. Why is it more clicks from the task bar?
1. Infrared blaster in all mobile phone.
2. Tablet which has car heads up display mode functionality
3. Budget phone but with telephoto lens instead of ultrawide.
I object to the printer comment. My family used a brother HL series laser printer until drivers didn’t support it anymore. That took 15 years. It never lost connection, never jammed, never failed.

what you mentioned about youtube titles for thumbnails is very easy to make but it requires them to change some of the way stuff is stored and all complicated stuff i dont understand wich makes it hard for a big company as them. But say I made my own application ofc its easy to do its just the scale and current way of running youtube that makes adding features a big task.

I love the Nulea M505. I went from an MX Master 3 to the M505 and haven't looked back as far as using it for daily tasks and office work go. It's on another planet ergonomically compared to the Master (which is not at all ergonomic in my eyes).

S24 Ultra with a headphone jack and a micro SD card slot.
Super high DPI mouse, but three button and vertical scroll only... like a basic mouse but super accurate. I do a ton of CAD... but I really don't want loads of buttons, horizontal scroll or RGB.

I want Android Smart Tags with UWB (Ultra Wide Band) functionality for precision location tracking services and accurate indoor positioning or, just make the SAMSUNG SmartTAG2s compatible with all androids with UWB chips. Also, a universal AirDrop / QuickShare standard to send files between Apple and Android devices and MAC & PC as well.

What we shoud have is guaranteed all day batteries, guaranteed anti-glare screens on every flagship. Super fast charging on every phone. No bugs on release.
There's really no excuse for any of those things being missing on any phone. The idea is to compete with the ops, not hand them wins every year.

@MKBHD doesn't make what you just said about your uncle using mouse. The only reason he would use it 180 degrees rotated as he was using it with his left hand and that he could use his index finger for left clicks.
Windows has an option to choose primary buttons on mouse. As long as you have a symmetric mouse, can be used by both the hands.
