I just received mine and I can happily say that quality has increased. Allot of the plastic parts are now metal, xy table for example. And seems to be a solid little machine for what it is. My first project will be installing a 90w 110v variable speed motor.
I got one of these a few months ago but hadn't tried it yet. Looked at it last nighr and had NO IDEA how to mount the grinding wheel and I wasn't going to create an account on WeChat just to find out. Thank you!! Also, I noticed that it would be remarkably simple to use the drill configuration as a vertical mill as well, just don't use the lever and use the crank handle for vertical adjustment.
I'm not liking mine much, there's flex when ever I use the drill press going up, but this video did help me figure out how to assemble it. Thanks for sharing, BTW, love the grand turismo music.
Thanks for this video, Mr. Yo Yo. This is a pretty cool little device, without knowing how much torque the motor may have. But I like that all the hardware is metal on both ends and that no screws go directly into plastic. Obviously, it's a mini machine and designed to operate as such, for small things. If it wasn't expensive, I think it would be handy. Mounting it to a table top would be necessary. Many of us cannot afford really good tools or have access to a fully operational machine shop.
It is only a toy. Cannot do any serious machining of metals. Small plastic and wooden parts can be machined. Can be bought from aliexpress for 100 dollars.
to all of those haters out there... I bought this product and I can tell you for a fact that it can spin metal. This kit is for BEGINNERS ONLY! It will take a little tweaking here and there to make it fancy your suit and the the XZ platforms are a bit sticky but other than that, it's a great kit.
Thank You for posting. I am considering this just to touch up 3D printed parts. There were a lot of useful comments from others who actually own and use this machine. It is now selling for 100USD on eBay here in the US. There are also full metal versions available for several hundred dollars.
Cool! Your kid is going to love that. Man I wish my dad had got something like that for me when I was young, and wanted to play out in the workshop while he worked.. lol That can't be Tonka their colors are yellow, and black,Fisher-Price maybe? Oh well, have fun.
A great idea for a machine, sad is made of plastic. A metal one, made with precision, would be great for small work and hobby. Like mill parts for models and RC vehicles
This is a knock off of the Unimat 1 which I own. My dad bought it decades ago and never used it...fast forward, dad has been gone 12yrs now and I have just recently got out the Unimat kit and built a little drill press for pc boards. It is what it is and does what it does reasonably well. I don't know if I would lay out the cash for one of these but in my case the price was right (thanks dad) and I have the genuine Unimat (Austrian made) so I will be grateful and use the little bugger to death!
There is 2 versions of the machine. One uses T-Slot, one uses inverted V-Slot profile. For the V-Slot, there is a 3d model on thingiverse for the connector clamps. These machines also use M12 shaft allowing the addition of alot of accessories.
These multi-in1 devices are really fun, would love to get one myself, sadly compared to a few years ago they are now overpriced AF because they are soo obscure, that they rarely get sold
the motor has misalignment and the belt keeps on falling. I tried to vary the tension on the motor by tightening/loosing the screw on top of the case but still the problem exists.... Can anyone help me with this??
I liked the machine. I did have one similar in 1995. I got rid of it after moving in with my sistet snd het husband plus I working ALOT! i would like know where I can buy one? Would you know of anywhere that might be selling such a similar item? As for the music? 😨😨😨😨.
There's the slide a pre-drilled plate under and screw it through the hole in the plastic. Then there's the two "train carriage" link by a long screw method. A tab separate the two carriages and when you tighten, these two blocks buckle upwards, pressing up and down against the modules, locking them in position.
Thank you for the video. I think I'll order one. Is there any ability to "lock" the assembled tool to a bench? I understand that this is not to be used for heavy duty machining, but I suspect the product would move around a bit too much if it is just free-standing. If it does not have the INCLUDED ability to hold it down, will a flat vice or clamps do the trick? Does anyone know? +1 liked.
Yes you can, I Just received a month a go the 10 in 1 all metal set and it is great, not inteded for industrial or profesional use but you can use it for handcrafts, an auxiliar tool for your current hobby (ie. RC modeling, sacale trains, etc). You have to fine tune it order to make it more precise. Also you can fix it in a workbench.
@@beatazoz4404 Hello Beata, I got it Amzon in a flash sale. I really enjoy it, and as I wrote, it is not a professional micro late, however you can turn it into a excelent and precise and solid hobby tool. Best regard
Hey no cheating put that manual away. XD awesome vid love the music(j/k had that thing stuck in my head for 1/2 day). The newer one looks a little more promising(all metal). only thing that really concerns me is the quality of the chinese motor that it's using and how hard would it be to put a better motor in it like a dewalt brand of some sort in it. For a DIY guy i wouldn't mind have the newer you got linked around the house.
Interesting but I can’t imagine what kind of material could be cut, turned and otherwise modified with a series of tools like this. Hard wood, metal, plastics? Seems clever but I wonder how useful it is.
Thanks to this video, I found out that the undocumented big round parts in the sealed bag is for the tool grinder. I treat the jigsaw machine as a joke. The motor turns an eccentric gear which is pushed into a slot under the jigsaw table. The saw blade is locked onto a plastic module with a cavity into which this gear as it turns, pushes the whole assembly up and down. The module is preassembled and is loose inside the box that contains it.
Great video, thank you for uploading. Having owned one of these, my opinion is that it very much is a waste of money and would not recommend buying it. It has various safety issues, ones you would not expect. The rpms are not adjustable, it vibrates right off the table unless you clamp it down, the chuck actually flew off mine because the fastening thread was the wrong design. Its time consuming to setup, frustrating to use, it was a mistake to buy, i cant find any reason to recommend it.
Depends on what type of set you get, mine is the 10 in 1 all metal set with 60w motor and it can grind wood, plástics, soft metals and with enough care, cold rolled iron.
Sorry, I've seen much worse. This music is ok with me and is in the "right direction " for background music IMHO. Great video work, but front lighting could be better.
Hi! So far I did never see this kind of articles in any store I went in! But I am not a good example as I'm not going any where for some 5 or 6 years now! I am in need of these things, but i am more into the idea of building my own machinery from scraps of many kinds. Any ideas and other informations will be 100% welcome!
This is actually a knockoff of the Zhouyu 6 in 1 which seems to be a knockoff of the Unimat 1 Classic. I haven't confirmed it yet but many of the parts from Zhouyu will probably work on this machine. They also make an all-metal version so you can upgrade over time. I've only been able to reliably find parts on AliExpress but you can find some on Amazon and Ebay.
