@Daniel Flores You must be new to league lol. You’ve never heard Tyler talk about Phreak? A riot employee? Or any of the streamers talk about Jatt when he joined the balance team? Or anything XJ9 said about Tryndamere back in the day? This exact stuff and much much worse happens towards riot employees everyday.
@Daniel Flores I watched Tyler call Phreak a bald r**ard on more than one occasion. I watched other people make fun of him for dating a 🌽 ⭐️. And XJ9 didn’t get banned until he leaked his GF’s 📸 for playing Lee Sin lmao. That’s how far you have to go as a league content creator. I’m not going to try to censor the other stuff Tyler or XJ9 or Tarzan said but look it up I’m sure you can find it.

Vanghdahar or what every his name is, tried to balance everything. Balance isn’t fun 😂
If they got those live from a creator to whom they themselves gave a platform and some benefits - my guess is, they'd do something about it. As they would if the death threats were coming from ingame accounts not anonymous posts and emails.

If he is in America, I totally disagree with being banned. In America there is freedom of speech. Selling a product or service in America then rescinding said product cuz of some name calling? How does no one see anything wrong with this? Also, the guy should be refunded every penny spent then. You cant steal from someone cuz he called you a retard. This is a lawsuit in America 100%

Regardless if it’s constructive or destructive, context determines that they definitely deserved the criticism.
They are some braindead bald pieces of shit. That parts just accurate. They’re in their right to ban him from their game, of course, but his views are completely legitimate.

Clearly nothing about him is grown. I would assume he’s spent countless hours locked in a room playing video games. Nothing about that makes him a man.
PathofMathh has been a bit dickish at times, but you also gotta take into account a certain streamers fanbase that is constantly attacking and lying about him. Many of the points made in that reddit post are taken completely out of context.

asmongold also should check the recent video that he released that defies the first 2 accusation. kinda sad that asmon just eat reddit word at the face value.
37:03 actually he has been permanently banned as a person, he is not allowed to make a new account they will ban those too, initially he got a message he could make a new account but he received clarification later that this was not the case and any accounts he would make would be banned.
He can still play just never stream it or ban
Aw, I thought it was something like an IP ban or hardware ban, or whatever.
He can only play with vpn as his ip will be banned. If you think overreach remember streamer q? GGG knows exactly the ip adress of popular streamers
I thin pathofmathh is right with his criticism but then on the other hand he is such a sheep for still playing. If you don’t agree with the direction of the game stop fucking playing it and do some else. Sheep will always just hang in complain about everything but not take action. Player numbers are mostly inflated by little complainers. If they all stop playing and Poe sits at 20k players they will probably make the game fun again by tomorrow

Wait so Asmon wont call anyone autistic because he doesnt like using medical diagnosis as an insult, but is fine with calling people spergs? Sperg is just a derogatory insult for people with aspergers. Just because he thinks most people dont know where the word comes from or that the word evolved is irrelevant...
I agree, if you follow that logic everyone can say what they want and get away with it playing all dumb, that sounds pretty unreasonable. If people (can) know what asperger is (like, by googling a second) then the same goes for "sperg".
"It's OK when asmon does it."
That's literally the logic he uses, it's OK when he does it because it's a joke of "part of my persona", when other people do it then it's threatening and abuse.
Because when you hear the word autism nowadays most people think of the ones being born with a physical defect, instead of an emotional or social defect. also 1 I haven’t seen asmon use it recently and 2 I don’t think anyone (even asmon) in this time and age know what it means he probably remembers a lot of people saying it and started using it as well and 3 Asperger’s sounds like an invented autism for attention seekers trynna identify as an autist to defend themselves cause shit I know 99% of my friends have at least one or 5 of the symptoms described under Asperger
As an aspie, TIL sperg is related to aspergers.

At the risk of sounding dense, how is calling someone names on your own stream harassment? He didn't make any threats or personally call or email Chris Wilson did he? He just malded on his own stream? I mean, throwing a temper tantrum is 100% childish, but dev abuse? Come on now
I think, and I might be mistaken, if it was directed aimlessly, it would have passed as a temper tantrum and the platform to take action here would have been maybe twitch for vulgarity and using the R word. But since it was directed at a specific person, that was a personal verbal attack. He's not a child, he's a grown ass man who insulted a person specifically. Childish as it may be, if it were my game and if one of my staff members, let alone myself, was specifically verbally attacked publicly I would insta ban this person from my establishment (may it be game, restaurant, office, it doesn't matter). He made a decision to verbally attack, applied action and verbally attacked, and actions have consequences and he got himself a perma ban. Seems justified to me. I could be wrong and speaking from bias though.
He basically got banned from streaming the game, meaning they just wanted him off of the PoE section on Twitch and not representing the community.
Yeah, it makes no sense to me.
I dont think anyone should get banned from a service for tweeting that the SW team that support the service are incompetent, or that one of them is bald and stupid.
I don't agree. If he was tweeting at Chris, or emailing him, or actually interacting with him in some way and saying that shit to him, then fine, that's harassment. But he's not, he's on his own stream saying this. That's not harassment. Should he have said that? No, 100% not, and it was wrong of him to say that. But none of this sounds like harassment.

@@nerdcast5 no one harassed Bobby and this guy isnt harassing the devs. Just stop using the word harass. This word is being overused and down plays true harassment. If you think this guy is harassing the devs of poe then I expect you to think tea bagging is sexual assault. It completely petty and childish of the devs to ban him.
Did he actually target that harassment in game? If not, then I think PoE overstepped and I think this cross platform banning is something everyone should be concerned about. Wouldn't surprise me if he was an a-hole in game too, however I still think it's up to platforms to take action eg Twitch suspension/ban. The whole "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences" BS is just promoting an authoritarian society built on a social credit score. Dude clearly needs to chill, but it's none of PoE's business what someone says about them elsewhere. I find it hard to believe that there are many people who haven't vented, it's just most people thankfully don't do it in front of the whole world.
Maybe I missed something, but really think about what you're really doing if anyone reading this supports the ban. Society is increasingly recording your actions. Do you really want to be punished because somewhere you offloaded too much? The implications go way too far for my liking. Eventually it will be possible to get rid of people who have anything remotely negative to say about your business which would give an unrealistic representation of your product or services.

"Sperg" is definitely short for "asperger's". Sometimes I question myself if I even have the syndrom, even though I've been diagnosed with it, and this confussion is partially because when it's being used as an insult I'd rather just not think that I have it, and often not say that I have it, to avoid giving ammunition to toxic people, and to not feel that I'm some person who deserves to be insulted.

I haven't played PoE in a while, but all I know is that since 2013 I've had some of the most fun I've EVER had doing ANYTHING, shared along with my best friend, for absolute FREE. The only money I've spent has been in appreciation for enjoyment ALREADY RECEIVED.
Imagine buying a pair of $40 pants or something, that didn't end up being exactly your favorite, and you decide to personally attack the designer all over social media, nuts right? Poor devs.....
Lets just say that last league left many people quitting PoE.
@@ShadowOfHistory-wn1xh and that completely fair, I'm fully up to date with the situation. People should be allowed to be sad about something they care a lot about getting worse. But personally attacking Chris is still not cool, or even logical. It's OK to be sad/angry about losing what you really like, but no one can take away the awesome experiences we've already had, even if it is time to move on.
Imagine then designers disowning you of your pants and banning you form owning future products
To be fair poe(post acts) without tabs is borderline unplayable. You need at least Premium tab upgrade to sell items to other players. And tabs like maps, currency, divcards, essences pretty much mandatory. Without them you will need 0-100 normal tabs FOR EARCH to fit the same amount of items
@@jamesb5540 Well, again. WoW community quite happily hates on Bobby.

his points were correct but then he looks like a child attacking the dev personally for no reason
Let's be honest, modern day gamers are entitled dogs and need to be put in place. You don't deserve the sun just because you spent 30 bucks on a game.

I remember old Bungie used to have employees that banned you permanently for messaging their xbox live account or t-bagging their character.
Same thing happened in Smite. There was a guy called DMBrandon who was a super toxic streamer and got perma banned.
Asmond saying that it's ok to call someone a sperg right after saying it's not ok to call someone a schizo is one of the stupidest things I ever heard come out of his mouth
Was really weird hearing him saying sperg and asperger were two different things.
Yeah Asmon shouldn't be getting into what insults are morally right or wrong, unfortunate topic selection this time.
@@Nero1444 No he's right, most people don't understand what it actually means so it's not offensive unless they add context that makes it target people instead of behavior. Everyone knows that "schizo" refers specifically to schizophrenia, which is often heavily misunderstood already. Equating the two is stupid, and I have Aspergers. I don't need any of you standing up for me against benign language, and I've told people to stop sperging out myself.
I've also been told that "aspie" is offensive in the same way, but again it's only offensive when put in a context that implies that having asperger's is the problem and not the behavior on display. If it's clear that they're simply trying to refer to outburst behavior then I don't think it's helpful to get worked up and confrontational over it.
@@damon2085 If I say a person angrily acting out is "sperging out" then everyone understands that I'm referring to their outburst behavior. If I instead say that "they have asperger's" I'm now implying that simply having the condition is the problem, and that is obviously far worse.

Moral outrage and woke virtue signalling has no negative effect on the customer, they simply take their business elsewhere to someone who doesn't care.
They still get their product or service, someone else gets paid and you get nothing.
@@bahamut256 You’re assuming the business of a random rude client is enough to make a difference. Just to push this further, being associated with rude customers can even tarnish your own brand and deter other customers depending on what services they sell. Hell imagine hiring EDP445 for $1/hr (hey, best business employee am I right? Virtue signalling aside) will get you cancelled for having a pedo in your business.

I have autistic traits, albeit I've never been diagnosed, and I know full well that you don't just insult people. It disgusts me when people treat autistic people like children that need coddling. Sure, they may not have an innate sense of what is publicly appropriate, but you can LEARN these boundaries. If you study normal people, you can learn what is and isn't okay to do. It is a struggle, to be sure, and one that was hard for me, but I did learn it, and it has served me well.
Many autistic people actually have a very strong sense of justice that may paradoxically get them into trouble, when they have to face this world that is sometimes far from being just and perfect.
I'm unsure if I am autistic or not, though some have said I may be, but I do know I have autistic friends. They definitely aren't children that need coddling, honestly the best thing you can do for them is to treat them no differently than what you would any other friend.
I will take this wisdom to heart. Calling twenty people rtards is better than calling one person a rtard.

it was just before 3.17 when the new atlas passives tree came out,

after this one video I never watched him again
But I won't be surprised if he did make the quickest currency or bossing in one or two leagues, and with the most mirror copied items probably
