- Welcome to another episode of Hot Wheels Unleashed! This video I am focusing heavily on the campaign mode to see if I can progress enough to unlock more cars and get to my first boss race! The boss races are definitely a very different and crazier kind of hot wheels track than I've gotten used to!

With the repeated cars I'd scrap them for gears if I wanted to play it safe and sell them if I wanted the gamble. Because if you scrap them you get a guaranteed return for what it gives you. If you sell, then you have a very good chance of getting a crappy car that doesn't sell for what the box costs.

@LurchTheBastard plus you can't win gears in races, once you've gotten all the 1 time completion reward gears on the map. You can only win coins and only get more gears by scrapping cars
Scrapman, don't know if you noticed, but that "cool car" you got is the Skull Crusher, which is needed to unlock a certain secret!
EDIT : APPARENTLY there's other cars with a similar name, but I think keeping note of what car is needed for each secret is important still.

I don't think that's needed for a secret. I think you are referring to the Bone Crusher car, which is a different one...

I really did not care for this series at first. Just wasn't a game that interested me. But now not only is the series growing on me, but I kinda want to try out the game! 🤣 Crazy that the sponsorship actually works. Like I never would have considered this game if it weren't for being a big scrapman fan! Keep up the good work man! I may have to go check out the music channel next!

I think that, mathematically, is better to dismantel [sell for gears if I recall how they call it correctly] the cars. With gold you can buy more cars. But you want to upgrade your own.
At most, I would have 3 cars. The good for speed, the good for manouver and the prety one.

True. But you can allways make mor money by wining first.

Pro tip, boosts help you steer mid air. So if you take a ramp on an awkward launch off a ramp, you can boost while aiming your car back towards the track to possibly get back on track. Also good to make some major shortcuts in some tracks.
i thought it was hilarious that the car that gave him so much trouble in the boss race was called here comes the duckXD

19:31 When you drifted behind the blank canvas, if you kept going it looked lik a ramp going into a tube... maybe a secret shortcut?
It is possible to use this tube on track building but it isn't the case for this track. There is a checkpoint right at 19:33

So, now that you have a boss race track module, you can select it as your starting grid when making a custom track, and that will allow you to use the boss' gimmick (in this case, the switching accelerator strips) in your own course! Since it's based on the starting grid, this limits you to only one boss gimmick per track, though, but maybe that's for the best.
I always recommend using a Launcher Start, Boss Start, or otherwise special starting grid for your races as opposed to the normal one, it helps make your courses stand out!
You gotta upgrade the wedge gang ruby slipper, so I say dismantle so you can upgrade it. Better cars = faster returns, you'll get the money easier with a better car
Definitely get gears from the extras that way you can upgrade your favorite cars

I really want to see more track building from this series. The campaign is cool, but I like seeing the creative juices flowing.
i still think a multiplayer series would be fun making custom tracks
(at the end of the episode) there's a key track to unlocking a secret on the left path from the boss track that you did, but while that track completion can lead to another boss fight, you need to complete the track with motosaurus to unlock the secret. also, the boss track on that path has poison patches that will constantly drain boost if you so much as nick them ( be careful when drifting and ease the accelerator key when doing so or you will fall off the track or become imbalanced)

G-day Scrapman, just a quick tip, when in the timed races you don’t have to accelerate before 2, it gives you full boost if you don’t tap anything, you can also go backwards to get a running start depending on the track. Love the videos keep up the amazing work 😁
I want this game so bad it's everything I've ever wanted in a track builder / racing game, the only problem is how expensive it is

An idea for multiplayer Monday from me is 2v2 one person builds a boat and one builds a torpedo launcher for the boat and you battle with one person driving and one aiming and shooting torpedos

- Make vehicles that knocks on beach ball (Beach ball spawner) and play beach ball with cars
- Plane with Cargo (Crate Launcher) has to drop crate to a specific location while getting gunned down by gunner planes (Limit: 4 guns)
• Scrap Mechanic
- Mining vehicle become Mining Amphibious Vehicle (MAV)
- Multi-player Place corn to on a wall randomly and the one with the least painted blocks win

I vote coins so you can buy more blind boxes for unlocks, once you got the best of the best you can then upgrade it. That seems like the best strategy for now.
Honestly, the first boss race is the only good one, the other boss race's gimmicks are just annoying and not fun at all.
Also, just a heads up for future track ideas. The boost thrusts your car in whichever direction your car is facing, which means you can somewhat "fly" in just about any direction.
Actually I had fun with the second boss, even if i was never able to boost, the insane amount of speed through the whole track was great

The best thing is that I watched scrap man for years and the moment I saw I just wanted to get it. Now I have it and I have completed 70 percent of the campaign with the new koneggseg wrap that he has
the car on first place at 18:51, aka bad to the blade, is an extremely good car if you want speed and drift power. also it looks cool, in my opinion ofcourse
I've played quite a few car games using keyboard (i do have a controller and have tried it but don't really like it) and have found that you can be equally good on any racing game. It's all about technique. When drifting try tapping a & d to be more precise (at a fast or slow pace depending on the goal of turning).

You can exit corners faster by using your bosst in the middle of a corner while drifting,it will take sometime to practice,but once u master it you'll go faster,also u may wanna drift in the insides of each corners that u have to drift on so it will decrease distance and go faster,i have somehow mastered using boost after initiating drift,anyways be safe evryone

Actually yes that Cut on Sunset drive is actually good your just drifting to wide Scrap and you approached it to fast.
I did notice that the last rare car u got if u actually upgraded it you get 3 more top speed so I think it is worth it dismantling the double cars to upgrade it

I wish the game had more tracks with gravitational upside down jumps or gravitational side to side jumps. Like you jump from a ramp spin and land on the tracks that was on top of the ramp you were on. if it makes any sense. It needs more of gravitational jumps and spins tracks
You should give the origonal Stunt Track Driver a go.

The skull crusher one you need it for a secret race that you found in the 1st episode
Keep the skull car if not to upgrade and use then for the cool factor of your collection
I have the skull crusher irl, but it changes colors in different temperatures of water
Sorry to backseat game, but it might be good to upgrade the skull car because of the handling and acceleration. Also the speed goes up when you upgrade

i do try this game, n the feels of the control is almost the same as nfs most wanted on ps2 ( i play it on my pc tho)
so quick tips for boosting n drifting that i found so good is, drift from outside into the inside, but once u were in the middle of the track, turn ur steering into the opposite way of the turn for just a small amount of second, then turn back the steering again into the same way as the turn then just tap the boost for few second, it does give small amount of acceleration after drifting and getting better control at the same time
Upgrading seems more important right now, so I would scrap the cars and get yourself a big upgraded car.

Scrapman the blind box in the Campain if you go there you can press right shift and legt shift to see the otter rewards
I think a better name for the "orb" boost is burst boost (but could also be named after the nitrox2 as its also a burst type of boost) and the gauge boost a cool name would be burner boost (inspired by the burnout series)

The R2-02 car is one of the fastest in the game. In multiplayer he is very popular if is fully upgraded
