My German is rusty and I can't articulate what I intend well in it, but this song was amazing, and impactful. I'm trying to get the strength to overcome a personal issue, and it's not easy in the slightest, but saving songs like this that remind me why I should take that plunge and that I can do it if I try, which helps make taking that step a lot easier. Thanks for your music

@@jammerh7633 a lot. Thank you for checking. Some days are hard. But more days aren't as time goes by. Happy I reached out happy there was community that could support me in music and other areas. Things aren't perfect but the sky looks much brighter now in the future for me.
😂 belly laughing, brilliant response! Search “ if I were the devil “ (cody A)& and “ the devil went down to Oklahoma “ ( josh m) let me know your favorite.
I'm confused by the plot. So there's the devil, probably talking to a mortal, but who is "he" when the mortal says "see he don't care about you", and then seemingly warns about the devil's price. Is the 3rd the listener? I'm so confused. is the narrator the 3rd? But then, why would the viewer warn the narrator?
The devil is a metaphor for addiction in this song. How it looks to me is that the singer is telling the story of someone he personally saw battling drug and alcohol addiction, hence why the chorus starts with the first person tense, and stays in first person until he continues talking about the person struggling with addiction
I think that the lines that seem like they are from the devil is just one guy who is telling the other one what the devil said and then the other one gives advice about it
the narrator is someone else who has made a deal with that devil in the past. warning someone about to make the same deal. from the POV of someone who has already made that mistake
@CaptainScoutfeed the machine is definitely about covid, though a lot of their songs do have a theme that is about people in power, including both the government and rich people
Id say human greed in general. No matter the system human avarice is what ruins all. Communism, capitalism, monarchies , all systems fail but the only constant that remains the same is envy and greed
Played this in my rehab center and they loved it!
Nice!

I listened to this song an entire day!
That is a lot of replays. Nice.
backgrounds are always so sick
Better anti drug PSA than all lf D.A.R.E
I didn’t even realise it was about drugs until I saw your comment
Considering this might actually work rather than make kids more interested in them, yeah.
This is in my top 10 favourite songs but that background is cool af
C'est très reposant, j'aime beaucoup ce style, il est toujours stimulant pour l'imagination ^^

I will find a way to connect the lyrics to the overarching meaning of how capitalism will be the death of us all
