very good video..having 2.4 ghz receiver with a connected 900Mhz receiver as redundancy makes sense

I think having 2.4 and 900 backup is a minimum everyone should have, otherwise too risky. Especially at the field where I fly where people get hit of loss signal all the time. Thanks for watching!

Can you help. I cannot the backup R9 to work. My setup is have a SR10+ connect with a R9 like yours. Register and bind both receivers successfully, but could not any servos to work on the backup R9...

For your case, bc you are using SR10+, you need to do channel/pin mapping by setting Pin1 to SBUS in, and move every mixes down (move all of yours A,E,T,R... down to Pin2, Pin3.. respectively). Refer to the segment at time mark 8.33 minutes in the video for reference. In my example, I only need to do pin mapping for the R9SX pin 6 for SBUS out. For your case, you need to do both SR10+ (pin 1) and R9SX(pin 6 to SBUS out). Good luck!

Can we use this redundancy with radiomaster tx16s?

I don't use RadioMaster but doesn't theirs 4 in 1/ELRS have 900 also for redundancy.
