I started your ukelele tutorial on the 3rd week of February, concentrated on your beginner lessons and patiently got the hang of strumming. I confess i had been to some other channels in search of my favorite songs and easy chords for it. Always i ran into fingerpicking which made me shy away from most of the songs i was looking for, until i realized that i have to learn it... fingerpicking. So gad I discovered your channel during "quarantine." I was getting a little discouraged with my Ukulele APP and other resources online. Once I stumbled upon your videos, I realized I can play better I thought! Practice often is really useful too. Wish my fingers didn't hurt so much. Ah well!
As someone who is still a beginner at the ukulele I understand fingers hurting but eventually calluses will form at your fingertips and it won't hurt anymore. I've been playing for about 6 weeks total now and my fingers don't hurt anymore.
