Hi Guillermo - We have a comparison on all of Sony's latest home theater/soundbar speaker options! Check it out here - ruclips.net/video/6kHJayE9DkY/видео.html
Hey, I tried looking back through your catalog to see if you had a video that addressed this, but it would be nice if you did a video dedicated to how Atmos enabled soundbars should be configured for non-standard/asymmetrical theater room setups. In my case, I'm dealing with the TV facing out from the corner of a large room with 30 degree vaulted ceilings.
Great question. It will totally depend on how adjustable the level settings are on the sound bars. The ones with automatic room correction would be your best bet for a room like you have. If you get one without and can adjust the levels of the Atmos and/or surround speakers, just experiment with level (and distance if it has it) to get the best effect.
I’m torn between Sonos Arc and Sony HT-A7000. I have a Sony a80j. I don’t see many reviews comparing the two. The ht-a7000 is more compatible with my tv, but I wouldn’t be expanding to buy a sub with it anytime soon. Is Sonos Arc better for movies as standalone or will Sony sounds better and more optimised with the tv?
Hi I have Sony iv300 which have good bass. But can't hear dialogue clearly because of the overpowered bass. I am looking for a sound bar which will provide excellent dialogue clarity at the same time no compromise in the bass (need Thumping bass like iv 300).Can u suggest one?
All of the ones in this video have great dialog. That is the main thing we look for first in a sound bar. You could also try moving your sub further away from room boundaries or even try a different location for it. That can make a huge difference in how the bass sounds.
I just don’t understand how these higher end soundbars have no eq on them. I mean my 100$ Vizio m series 2.1 has a functional eq for bass, subwoofer, treble, and dialogue. I want to upgrade especially since I’m moving to a bigger space but these things are not only huge but some lack some basic functionality that should be essential at this price point.
Many of them use a microphone either in the bar or on your iPhone to measure the room and make far more complex adjustments to fine tune the speaker to the room than just bass and treble. Automatic room eq has gotten really good and makes a huge difference in most spaces. Hope this helps and thanks for watching

Good morning I recently bought 1 sennheiser ambeo soundbar which I am really happy with. I would like to add 1 subw model svs sb4000 or svs pb4000 for more bass. I would like to ask you if by inserting one of these two models I can improve the bass sound more or given the high costs of the models described above, I only keep the soundbar? we are talking about € 2399 and € 2899. for this reason I ask you if by adding 1 subw I really gain from listening to both music and movies. Thanks for your answer
If you have a very small room, you will hear less benefit, the larger the room, the more you will hear. In a medium sized room the 3000 series would be a good match. Thanks for watching
Where should I place my q950a rear speakers? I have 9’ behind me, but for the life of me I can’t get convincing Atmos (8’ flat ceiling). Just curious if I could get better performance, but your configuration device doesn’t work with sound bars with the q950a configuration.
I got the nakamichi 9.2.4 and am returning it for the Samsung q950a. I messed with the settings as much as I could on the nakamichi but it just sounded waterlogged and bad and I think it is the lack of eArc support.
Thanks for the comparison. The options for me are JBL 9.1 and Samsung HW-Q990B. I feel the Bass in JBL is impressive, but the same in Samsung does not provide the required punch. Would it be possible in any way to change / upgrade the SUB in Samsung at any point in time later? Both are about the same price in India as of now. The advantage in Samsung is the flexibility to tinker lots of parameters, which lacks in JBL. Also the ATMOS sounded better in Samsung. Kindly advice
Hi . I have a lg cx 77 inch ... i currently own the jbl 9.1 and im not to sure about it yet because i juat barely purchased it .. but do you think the Bettter choice is samsung 950 a?
Will I have any problem outputting 4K/120Hz signal from my Xbox series X to my CX when connected through e-arc? (Dolby atmos) Really looking at the Samsung as it's heavily discounted in my country, and a bargain compared to the Arc. But gaming in general is an important topic for me and I haven't found a single review that touches this unfortunately. Thank you for overview of all these soundbars :)
Hi Ricardo! The Samsung is probably your best bet for the Xbox Series X. If you were on PS5, the Sony A7000 is absolutely the best. The answer can also depend on the TV you have. Having said that, come have a chat with one of our video game experts at audioadvice.io/aa-chat so we can have the full understanding of your setup. Thanks for watching.
@@AudioAdvice I thought it was related to the 120hz output, if you go directly in the television, you'll prob get an delay. Unless the person who informed is totally wrong about it. The Sony and Klipsch are the only one's with 120hz output, right?
Hi thank you for nice content! The problem with bundle package that comes all together it's not the same experience if you buy separate, on top of that not all people can afford to have subwoofer, for issues like they don't have there own house. I bought Sony A7000 + Sub n satellite speakers, oh boy the subwoofer is monster, the build quality of the setup is very good.
It depends on their usage. If you are looking for immersive audio for watching television then a great soundbar is going to be the best because you have HDMI from the television to the soundbar and it will play immersive audio using different left, right, center and other channels. If you want something for playing music to pretty loudly in a party of playroom that is also able to be transported, then Partybox.
My problem with the Sony HT-A7000 is that I would have to buy the speakers and subwoofer separately, which I consider to be a waste of money. I like the Sony, but the fact that I have to buy the speakers and subwoofer separately is outrageous to me. I consider the top Samsung model to be better value for money.
There are many soundbars that come with everything and some where the subs and surrounds are options like that particular Sony. The ones where they are options for the most part offer better performance once you buy everything, but do cost more.
@@AudioAdvice Can I buy the subwoofer together with the soundbar or do I have to buy it separately? There is no information about this in the shops in my country

The new price of the Bar 9.1 is reflected here: www.audioadvice.com/jbl-bar-9-1-soundbar-with-wireless-subwoofer However, you could get an open-box model for less. Supplies of open-box models are limited, so sharing the link here: www.audioadvice.com/jbl-bar-9-1-soundbar-with-wireless-subwoofer-open-box-exc Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I think the Sony HT A9 with SW5 sub would be way better value than the HT7000. Sonos still not supporting Bluetooth is criminal.
That would definitely be better but at twice the price of the HT7000. Sonos does have Bluetooth on their portable speakers. Thank you for watching
I have the Sony HT A7000 with the SASW5 sub and the wireless rear speakers running with my Bravia XR A80J OLED as the center channel and it is absolutely amazing.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice setup! I have the sonos arc and was thinking of switching to this 7000
I have the exact same setup 77 in a80j I actually got the sub last because of how good the soundbar sound without a sub.

Bose 900 vs Sonos arc please
I was going to ask why the Bose 900 wasn't included.
Or sennheiser
Hola, para una sala de unos 14m cuadrados, cual me recomiendas?. Gracias.
Do you have any update from JBL support why with Sony TV's earc does not work.only after disabling earc on tv JBL starts working or else there is no sound ..is it JBL 9.1 is not supported fully for earc or sony TVs like x900h has bug with hdmi earc port ?
I'll stick to my Sony Htz9f. The firmware update gave it 2.1 so I'm good
I have the same soundbar with rears speakers and it works very well😉
I have it but not using them right now ..I upgraded to Samsung HW90R
Why not Bose 900?
I can't afford to have a high end AVR with dolby atmos plus a set of klipsch dolby speakers.. My budget is just under a thousand dollars so I made up my mind to get JBL BAR 9.1 now it has been 3 days of great movie experience with this complete set of dolby atmos soundbar & I am so blessed to own one.. But any of these soundbar is already great.. It all depends on your decision & budget.. but for me I prefer the one that has great subwoofer & has wireless rear surround speakers.. that is why the JBL BAR 9.1 is the perfect soundbar for me & my budget..
Thanks for sharing! The Bar 9.1 offers a lot for its cost!
Heck yes! 🙌 love these videos!!
Glad you like them!
why didn't you include the beosound stage? my mate has the Ambeo, i have the stage.... and we prefer the stage...
I have the Stage and love it, but I do miss the surround sound. However I don't want to go back to the tinny sound that other soundbars can have just to get the surround back.
I have the complete Sonos arc system and do like it! However I bought the sennheiser and have been using about a month now and it just blows me away. For a 1 bar setup it is amazing. No sub needed. I use mainly for gaming on next gen consoles and it’s amazing. Highly recommend!
We appreciate your comments. Thanks for watching and sharing!
Neither Sonos nor Senn is truly an audio class product. For gaming and action movies, sure.
@@morespinach9832 There is so much products for everyones taste.

Those arms 💪!
The JBL package goes for less than $1000 & every other is at least $1500 (arc with sub). That says something for the little system.
checkout klipsch 700 + surround 3 speakers costed me more or less 1k too
I agree, plus the fact it has rears that are fully wireless with no power cable needed either, it's the winner in my book.

Hi there! Our list is based on price and features to complement music and home theater applications. I find it unbelievable how these companies have taken such a big name when released, liquidated it down until it means absolutely nothing, then marketed it towards the less informed for a hefty price.
Blame Dolby themselves, as they allowed the Atmos name to be used on phones, earbuds etc...
Nakamichi?
Hi David, Nakamichi makes some pretty nice products, and the Shockwafe as an example is an interesting product. However, in our testing, Shockwafe just didn't make the cut for this list compared to the one's that did. Our list is based on price & features to complement spatial audio music & Dolby Atmos movie watching, plus a lot more. These are simply the best of breed in terms of high-performance Atmos systems, and are the one's that really stand out. Hope that helps & thanks for watching!
The fact that the Nakamichi SSE 9.2.4 wasn't included kinda leaves this review a little suspect in my opinion.
Quality isn't there...
I have Sony A80K, between Samsung Q990c and Sony Ht-A7000(with sub and rears)which is best given that q990c does not support q symphony and Dolby Atmos for sony tv, please any advice

Hi guys when do you have a review of the sony ht A9 greetings from Ecuador 🇪🇨
Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss the pros and cons. Thanks for watching

We really like the HW950A too! Glad you like it too. Thanks for watching.

The Samsung q950a is £850/$950 is it worth it buying now?
I'll stick with my tiny speakers in my LG G3. For its price the speakers work good enough

Hi Payal. Thanks for reaching out with the dimensions of your room. The Cinema 1200 package might be the best option for the size of this room, but there are a few other factors to consider.

Nakamichi
Nakamichi is awesome for the price… the problem with Nakamichi is the constant need to “Refresh” the HDMI.
I got the nakamichi 9.2.4 and am returning it for the Samsung q950a. I messed with the settings as much as I could on the nakamichi but it just sounded waterlogged and bad and I think it is the lack of eArc support.
Nothing beats Samsung q950A the only issue is the stupid screen is on top of the soundbar
Whats about for the subwoofer Quality?.
Sound quality is awesome 👌 especially watching a movie the dialogues are so clear u can hear everything clearly with no distortion
Perfect for the beach house. Thanks for the guidance.
Any time!

I will never buy any Sony products . 😩😩😩
You are welcome. We do not know of a way to change the Samsung sub.

Will I have any problem outputting 4K/120Hz signal from my Xbox series X to my CX when connected through e-arc? (Dolby atmos)
Really looking at the Samsung as it's heavily discounted in my country, and a bargain compared to the Arc.
You shouldn't have any issues. Just make sure you plug the xbox in the tv, not the soundbar.
Thanks for sharing, glad you are liking your new Sony gear
CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHICH IS BETTER SOUNDBAR VS PARTY BOX SPEAKER
