Burnt ends are a popular item at BBQ restaurants. They are super tender and tasty cubes of meat cut from the fattier point end of a brisket1. Traditionally part of Kansas City-style barbecue, burnt ends were originally an afterthought. The crispy ends were sliced off the brisket, sauced, and then served1. Nowadays, burnt ends are a staple on BBQ restaurant menus across the country1. The process of making burnt ends involves smoking a beef brisket point, slicing it into cubes, and then bathing it in BBQ sauce1. This results in melt-in-the-mouth, super meaty burnt ends1. They are often described as literal meat candy due to their tender, fatty, beefy nature with all the bark, and they just melt in your mouth1. In short, when done well, burnt ends are a bit sweet and salty and often have crispy charred bits. Good burnt ends fall apart easily, parts of it melting in a fatty pool in your mouth2. So, if you’re at a BBQ restaurant, burnt ends could be a great choice to try!
DANNY the MEDIC- If you ever have Mac n' Cheese with your BBQ try a little Ketchup on your MAC, one of the true game-changers out there!! I used to HATE Mac n' Cheese until I found that secret from a friend...

I will look into buying one of those books, seem like some great deals on coupons, since my wife and I will be moving back to Summerlin for 8 months in the year, I can actually really use that book. Thx for the food review.
Hey Danny and Steve, Burnt ends are mad with the point end of beef brisket and cooked longer than the whole brisket. It started in KCm where beef is king! Enjoyed your video.
Hi Danny and Steve! Always so happy to notifications of your videos. The food looks yummy. I didn't know what burnt ends were until my other half was assigned shore duty in Kansas City, Missouri. Moved from Washington State to Missouri. Always appreciate you sharing your food adventures. Be safe and healthy. Stay cool and hydrated.
If there’s leftovers I usually chop it up in small pieces and eat it room temperature the next day with warm white rice. (But make sure you store the meats in the refrigerator)
Hi Danny My name is Larry Manning and I live in Black Diamond Alberta. I enjoy watching you very much and tell Steve I think he is really a nice man to. So long for now and just wanted to let you know you are great. Bye for now
Hahaha...so Chinesey...My wife refuses to let me order burnt ends. She hates the name, and asks why anyone would order and pay for anything burnt? The sausage? I was waiting for you to say "food and travel, food and travel". I doubt that the Emerald Island Grill has a smoker to BBQ all that. The meat is dried out from either oven cooking or microwaving. But, for that price, it is a pretty good deal.
Dang...I wanted to know how what Steve thought of the sweet potatoes...I currently live in California. I haven't had good/tender BBQ since I left Mississippi.
Hey Danny, question...we normally stay on the strip because of our MGM resort gold level...does the book offer many discounts for restaurants in the strip?
I have the book and, no, the Strip is not represented. Strip casinos don't need to issue coupons to attract customers. They used to, but not post pandemic.
see the site, it lists the coupons... LVA Coupon Book: bit.ly/4bnie74 things change all the time, the phsical book is supplemented by online printable coupons that gets added whenever nobody knows
That chicken looked good and fell apart nicely. White meat chicken like the breast is so dry and tough when BBQ'ed, they did right by doing the leg/thigh. 🤤 Made the most of that LVA coupon, a $21.99 value. 👍

Steve just eats.
I was thinking the same thing, he is very focused
❤😂.
@@marydifiore7762 Steve must really like this sauce!

your friend is way less picky about food than you are Danny LOL!!! 🤣
My favorite people are together again.
That sausage is really hard! That's what she said 🤣

Tung, Tung, Tung !!!
your friend has the biggest glass of water I have ever seen
I have never been to Henderson much less the Emerald Isle Casino.
I haven’t either since I’m a mainstream tourist but I have been to the Hoover Dam
Aww, I was hoping you or Steve would try the baked beans. With that said the sweet potatoes looked good.
Ellis Island witch one is better?? BBQ challenge!!!
It's always a good day for me when I get to see Danny the Medic and friend!
The plate has enough foods to share by you and Steve. 😮. Pretty good value with a little of meats. 😮
Danny, I too order water only. I always ask them for lemon and I use 2 packets of Splenda or whatever is on the table. Wa la. Lemonade for free.
If the sausage is hard with dense sauce and corn is hard?? That's an automatic reject in the BBQ world 😂

Man, as soon I am able to, I have to go to Las Vegas. There are so many different food options there.
Good review...I ❤ brisket when it is smoked and tender. I also ❤ corn on the cob!!😊
See a hair on your corn, hope that's yours.🤣🤣🤣
According to their web page, the sausage is Fontanini Chicago smoked hot links.
SPREAD IT.........onto the cornbread 😂😂 Long time no see Danny!
Mahalo for the great video.... saying bbq sausage is like lup cheong is not a compliment
Danny The Medic: “I don’t know what it is guys”

On the Food review
Good 👍 Food Deals 😋 In Vegas .Outstanding Video. Thank 😊 You Danny 😂🎉😅😊😊
Nice sausage!
Even at full price that looks like an amazing deal!
Las Vegas has some great prices!
Keep up the good work.
Other than missing out on value by getting corn instead of the mac n cheese, $21 seems is a great value! BBQ is rediculously pricey where I live.
I think you should keep looking for another BBQ place, too.
Danny you need to review your new car one of these days.
Holly crap now that’s a deal
👍
At 5.59...... Classic, "This is Really Hard". LMAO.....
Good looking bbq but must be northen owned.

Good job rating the ribs ! #wulffdendad
Good looking BBQ. Didn’t get Steve’s rating.
Meats 8 sweet potato 9
Burnt ends are beef. Tip of the brisket I think.
Hi Danny, how can you rate your sausage a 7.5? Seems kinda high😮. Thx
Danny, just like London, has its east end. Vegas had its burnt end.
You should try Matikis if you haven't. Some of the best bbq I've ever had
Whooooooooooooaaa super Delish!!!
Interesting BBQ pieces and cornbread.
Sauce that stuff man!
does Steve got his own channel?
Love watching you both.
it should be in the works!
Wonder if the hair in the corn was standard
Make a mistake, Steve on RUclips, not Facebook, RUclips.
If yes what name does he use
Cheaper than the BBQ places in my area.
Burnt ends usually beef

He really loved the chicken so much
They probably boil and then bake the ribs. The sweet potato looked good.
That’s an interesting theory. My guess is that maybe some places do that
Definitely need to get the coupon book for our next trip.

About 20 miles.

There used to be a really good coupon book for Cancun. An expat put it together. It had some great bogo deals that made it worth every penny.
If you ever get to Jacksonville, Florida please try The Bearded Pig. I was visiting and my host took me to the best BBQ and my turkey sandwich was extraordinary. Everything was good. Lots of meat.
Do a video where you go to the movies

Haha, I told him to start a movie critic channel 😂
Lop Chung?
If it really does fall off the bone and you cannot tell what you are eating at best it is both poorly and over cooked.
Amen!! That is not Sparks quality food. It is run of the mill whatever gets by.
I feel bad for you. You should try real BBQ. You would melt
It's a veritable meat fest.
Insanely good value !
Superb deal!
