That place has been great for years. Would be nice if they came back to the property but probably wouldn't be as good as it is. Thanks for showing it. Glad you enjoyed it Danny!
The food looks as good as when we ate there! I’m totally impressed by your serving skills, Danny. Two spoons at once; I can only hope to aspire to that level of skill.
I had real butter with my boiled potatoes the last couple of nights. Tonight, I had chest tightening feeling, so definitely no butter anytime soon. I am 73 hope to go to 100.
@@jameshavard3182 I am 77 and have chronic atrial fibrillation and have a quintuple bypass 18 years ago. But my cholesterol is very good and blood pressure is excellent. My cardiologist says that heredity plays a large part in heart health. I'm warned that salt is more dangerous than butter or fats. If your overall heart health is ok, enjoy some butter on your potato. I do along with sour cream. I expect to be around to 100 also. Good luck to you.
Mirage had been one of our favorite suites on the strip...so so sad to see it go...thank you for doing a video..here in Florida, we have the guitar hardrock..been twice..not impressed at all..casino is so brightly light and feels so sterile. With that said, when it becomes the hardrock, will have zero interest of playing or staying....great video and guests...Goodbye Mirage 😢😢😢😢
Hello nice couple! Hi Danny! Loved your descriptions of the steak sauces!!! Kids whining for attention 😅 babysitter adding support 😂 The dinner looked yummy. Although I'm not much for sauces. Be cool and safe
The scallops shrink bc they are not dry scallops. They have water in them. The ones you have here are dry diver scallops that are seared. (Not burned). They do not shrink when cooked Dry diver scallops are $$$
That bread and butter was the start of a very elegant ($$$) meal. Don’t even want to ask about the total bill. Nice to have a pleasant memory of the steakhouse since the Mirage will soon be the Hard Rock. I will miss the volcano.
I'm sorry, but the fact they had a porterhouse (I think it was the porterhouse) for $240 - no they can f off with that price. I've been to some of the best steakhouses in NYC and the prices there are still cheaper than that. Holy cow $240 for a porterhouse, no freaking way. And the prices for some of the other apps and dishes were absurdly expensive. I know I keep making the joke that you left NYC because of the prices of food there etc. Danny, but jesus man some of the places in Vegas easily overshadow NYC prices at this point. Food looked great though :)
@@deannb7398 Those prices are still rather high. Though to be fair, a 3-pound tomahawk is pretty big - I just can't personally subscribe to "American wagyu" that is priced similar to actual A5 wagyu. And A5 wagyu is incredibly good, just about the best thing you can put in your mouth from a cow. Maybe. :D
When the viewer said it was a "charred octopus", I thought DTM was going to say "you had me at charred". You know the restaurant is fancy when the baked potato is served on it's own plate. They tried to trick DTM by saying the salad is good. What they don't know is that DTM is 10 year child in a man's body and does not like vegetables.
The last thing I'd expect to see at a steakhouse is octopus lol... And it's a steakhouse but the steak dish itself had no decoration at all? That's unfortunate. Glad it tasted good for u at least.
Sorry, but at those prices the portions were skimpy and should come with the sauce and some side besides bread, even if it is so soft! I'm Cheaper than DtM!!!😂
The dinner looked wonderful. The couple who hosted your dinner, were adorable.
Food looks great 👍😋, love the 🐙🦑🐙 octopus, the clam chowder, the prawns and steak, even the bread seems nice, I could just imagine the price!😬😜**
There is just no need to be that expensive. I would like them if they kept their prices within reason for their service.
That place has been great for years. Would be nice if they came back to the property but probably wouldn't be as good as it is. Thanks for showing it. Glad you enjoyed it Danny!
All I say is :
yum yum
Charred octopus
I am in !!
Great to see you at this fantastic restaurant before it closes for good.
Nice of the 2 of them to invite you to a nice meal, thanks for the review.
What a wonderful couple to have dinner with!
One of my favorite places to sit and people watch from the bar. My favorite place to watch the super bowl. Sad to see it go

I knew it was octopus when you first showed it... It looks delicious and tender!!!
I'm hearing impaired so I use captions. Your videos are often hilarious. I know you enjoyed your "crap" soup.😂

I grew up with deaf parents. My friends wanted to know why I was watching TV with no sound! I hadn't noticed! I still do when scrolling videos.
I'm a working man, so ketchup is my sauce of choice
Agreed...ketchup on everything but ice cream.
I put ketchup on ice cream!!!
Danny the medic snuck up on that octopus appetizer like a nervous cat on the hunt! He’s never a sauce guy! 😂👍

I know the guy who developed the bread, you need any more butter on it unless you want a heart attack 😂😂
Danny,
Amen Glory of God

thank you for watching
Nice video, nice people. Always love the catchy background music.
Very nice tour and high quality video enjoy and be safe!
Looks like you worked harder than the waiter 😂
Scrumptious 😋 💕👍

That's a nice couple who joined you.
The Griswalls will be upset the Mirage is closing.
Octopus is a delicacy of the gods.
The butter should look fancy for 8 bucks lol
My favorite vlogger.😊
Great video Danny, perfect review

Whooooooooooooaaaa pricy there❤!!!
That's an interesting steakhouse, Danny.
Yup. Expensive! Whoa.

I go for $350
😊😊😊I will take the steak ...no sauce. Glad you got to enjoy Heritage at the Mirage before it closes next month. Thanks for the video!!
Disappointed to hear that the 🐙 octopus was overpowered by the vinegar dressing
Prime at Bellagio is my steakhouse of choice, but I have had two excellent meals at Heritage. The butter is whipped and smoked! Sad to see it go.
You should have tried the French onion soup ❤

Wasn't that Wagyu steak. If it's genuine, $240 is cheap.
It was $140 for 36 oz. Dry Aged Porterhouse and $240 for the 48 oz. American Wagyu Tomahawk

In a super fancy place they have someone to lick the fork for you
I miss Steve and Tung. 😔

Danny: put a small piece of steak on your fork a little scallop and shrimp and just a hint of sauce.

Sauces are really needed for charred protein. They meant for baked proteins like prime rib or meat loaf
8.5 for the bread? Danny, you need to rerate. Seems like you were so in love with it, I thought you were going to say 9.5 minimum.
Can't get there soon enough!
Your guests seem very nice😊

What a pretty woman at your table.
very luxurious meal, guessing bill is above 250
That must have cost a fortune.
What cut of steak is it?
ribeye
You’ll never hear that beef and brown sauce explanation on the food channel #wulffdendad
save bread to sop up the gravy

Not burned... seared scallops.
Considering the tentacles I'd have guessed...octopus.
😋
Guitar shape as in Hard Rock, or guitar shape as in strip club?
Too rich for my blood
The question that needs to be asked, who had enough comps to pay for this meal?
Looks like a $350 meal
I agree...the best steak, is the one that doesn't need it...the steak beef flavor should be the star of the show
After I just finished my American Wagyu Tomahawk Steak..."What's for dessert"?..🥴
I'm with you DTM. No sauces for me. I've always said that people who have to use A1 steak sauce don't appreciate steak.
I smother my steaks in A-1 Steak Sauce.
