I'm not a local but the traffic comments get me every time because it's like what do you expect. I enjoyed F1 last time and will again. These events are what make Vegas.
My host at cosmo reached out on Monday to invite me out with a balcony room and a viewing party. As a note, I haven’t been to Vegas in 2 years. Offered $1100 free play and $900 resort credit as well. Had I not been hospitalized during the week, and had the time to fly out, I would have taken her up in a heartbeat.
@ hoping to. Have some great MGM and Venetian offers still coming through despite my absence - shows they’re trying to get lapsed clientele back en masse.
I feel that F1 was approved by the Las Vegas City Council. The city Council is elected. If people hate F1 that much, show up on Election Day and file the members of City Council.
Headed to Vegas in the morning for Thanksgiving week-F1 be damned, It seems the race only impacts tourists if their idea of enjoying Vegas is hanging out center strip. Last year I stayed at Trump International-which is right outside of the race route-so my stay was not impacted by the race, and I get my entertainment in the surrounding communities and Fremont Street. Thanks for all the updates, guys.
as long as i remember this is the first time the RIO has empty out masquerade tower for anything i believe that this is the first time for the NFR viewing
Wicked Spoon, we went last month, been going for years. No more, every time it drops in quality, and in every cheap way. $35 for locals is ok, is maybe a $45 value, now.
I liked F1 until yesterday. Now I say F the grand prix. The biggest issue is it took strip employees from Paris, PH AND Horseshoe over an hour to get out Thursday because that PATG parking company has their head in their ass. They are also not keeping the schedule with the harmon bridge as outlined.
I avoided driving on the Strip my entire 2 week stay that ended with a flight home 10:30PM Saturday, 11/16. though I did cross over it several times, mostly on Sahara. Didn't affect me too much as I played at the Rio, Palms, Green Valley, Cosmo & Eureka in/near Las Vegas, and the Aquarius, Harrahs & Tropicana in Laughlin.
I want more F1 news! I know it's not great for LV, but I love visiting Vegas, and last year watching them race down the strip and around the area was really fun. I plan to subscribe to F1 TV again just to again watch the LV race. I'd love to hear more F1 news on the show.
Why would I pay $25 for a fancy bagel at the Aria Food Hall when I can get a good full breakfast including a drink at America Cafe at NY-NY for the same price? If I need a cheap meal for lunch or dinner I’ll go to Raising Canes or In-N-Out, or get the awesome 4-cheese grilled cheese sandwiches at The Chef Truck at Park MGM - it’s only $12!
Thank you to our co-hosts for this segment on Friday. Happy weekend. Just my luck, the last pair of those designer shoes sold out just as we were ready to order “His and Hers”
I love buffets, but last time I ate at wicked spoon was about 18 months ago and it was so bad. I actually considered asking for my money back after I saw the meager offerings. No fruit, just cheap fruit salad! There was only 1 pancake left in the unheated bowl and it was in pieces....when I went back up about 20 minutes later, it was still the only pancake in the bowl. Yuck.
The one & only time I ate at Wicked Spoon was a disaster. A drunk at a table in our line of site threw up all over his table. 😱Staff was very helpful in moving us to another table & security took the drunk out. And the buffet wasn’t that good!!!!!
You haven't been to señor frogs at a late enough time, because it was always packed when I went. But their entry prices for the club at night got too expensive.
We had a guest get trick rolled TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW at a major strip casino. He did not learn the first time. Usually, these men get outraged when the casino cannot ID the female and get his possessions back. Then they want the casino to cover their losses as though it is the casino's fault.
Maybe the new Wuah (W) hotel will have googies all over the building. Did you notice the googies on the airport sign? I am planning a trip in May and was hoping to stay at the new Rio, but it doesn't look like the Masquerade area is going to be done so I may stay elsewhere. I appreciate yall keeping us updated on that.
If you’re out with one of your guy friends and keep getting bothered by a lady of the evening, one of you just put your arm around the other’s waist and your chin on his shoulder until she leaves. Won’t take long. Worked the one time I did it. 👍😁👍
Pizza Rock lost me as a customer before I ever got a chance to try it. We stopped at GN for my daughter done Chic fil a then walked to Pizza Rock. That has an entire conversation with us about where to find Chic fil a then after about 5 minutes of friendly chat they told us they wouldn't seat us until her food was gone. The manager was very rude about it. We've taken kids for with us into many of Vegas restaurants including Nacho Daddy on this same trip. We left and went to Evil pie instead. May be my last time visiting Fremont all together
@Milestomemories Evil pie was good but definitely the dive bar thing. Haha Their homemade hot sauces are freaking delicious though! I highly recommend that
Yes pizza rock, does have weird rules.. they have pizza by the slice but you can't order from the waiter.. u can bring it in and then sit at the bar.. but their pizza and calamari is delicious
I live close enough to the track that I might try to walk down Harmon and see how close I can get before upsetting some security guards. Will let you guys know if I do go if there's any viewing at all streetside.
There will not be anything much visible at all, unless you have a general admission ticket which are much cheaper this year. There are security screens up to prevent people crowding. You'd have to live somewhere overlooking the track to get away without paying. As covered in the video there's still plenty of stuff in the city for people without tickets - but do not ever expect to see the live action without paying for a ticket!
@mrtickleuk like I said, I live close and it's not inconvenient for me to just see if there's any gaps or any chill guards that don't mind me looking through their post. At least I can hear the cars go by if I can't see em.
Googie is an architectural style like the old Stardust signage. Laugh at the shoes, but those will probably be a valuable collectible by the time your kids are your age. That Harry Reid signage should have done the script in the Googie style too. With all that money maybe Mark Davis can shell out for a new haircut.
A similar thing happened on my most recent Vegas trip in October. My friend was drugged by a two guys chatting him up at the cashier's cage at Cosmo. They got his watch and his cash after following him down the hall to Vdara. Turns out after speaking with vice, there were two spotters at his BJ table who signaled their team. After his conversation with vice, this has become common on the strip....and especially downtown, apparently. Moving forward, i'm wearing my Apple watch and drinking from a sippy cup when I'm out there....oh, and F - Formula One!
Swatch had a Vegas watch a few years ago. It was so lame! I could not believe that it was not colorful and sparkly. It was so plain. I didn't get it. I like to buy Swatch watches when I go to Vegas and Hawaii.
Downtown Grand doesn’t do enough/offer enough to pull people off of Fremont and make the walk to it. That pathway leading that direction is mostly empty like what a Jerky store and the Fremont food court? People need to be pulled that direction and I don’t think the path to out offers enough to make people just wonder that way
I'd love it if plaza buys it. And bring 10 time odds to the crap table. They had it and then got rid of it.. I never went back . And I really loved the rooms, even walking the pathway..I would go and the employees would all be different so when you see that constant turnaround you know management sucks
it's a 10-year contract. It's true that there is a break clause after the 2025 race, but it's been a success for both commercial partners and all the signs point firmly to it running for the full 10 years.
I am going to go buy a fake Rolex before my next trip to Vegas. My first stop is the bar at the Flamingo before hitting the clubs and show off my Rolex.
I wear a Rolex in Vegas all the time... Only got unwanted attention a couple of times and usually I walk away or ignore them until they walk away... I also usually make my own drinks in my room and keep a lid on it... And screw F1!! Hope they can clean up there mess quick this year!!
Two stories regarding your topics, unfortunately both of them bad. First, Wicked Spoon. Last time I ate there, the server bumped into me and knocked maple syrup all over me -- I'm talking running down my clothes, into my purse, down my leg, into my shoes. No apology. She went and got a wet rag. I thought it was for me, but it wasn't. She got down on the floor and wiped the syrup on the carpeting. She then threw the wet rag on to my table, so that's what I had to clean myself up with. I'm handicapped and on a scooter. Had to go back to Bellagio with syrup all over my clothing and had to throw away my shoes. Second story - many years ago, my husband and my boss were in Vegas on business and staying at Caesar's. They were enjoying a drink after their conference in a hotel bar. Two hookers tried to proposition them, and they turned them down. My husband left the bar because he felt uncomfortable. One of the hookers slipped my boss a Micky in his drink, and he woke up hours later in his hotel room with no wallet. We never went back to Caesar's. Keep up the good work - love your Vegas updates.
I hope you complained about what happened to you at Wicked Spoon and that something was done about it? It's distressing just reading about it and can't imagine how bad it was for you.
WOW!! I've read so many comments about how bad wicked spoon is but this takes the cake!!! Truly! My friend wanted to check it out next time they're in town but it ain't happenin Thank you so much for sharing. many blessings 🤍
As for F1: I'm in utter "whatever" apathy mode with it. I grew tired with F1 headlines during its inaugural year, and so it all just kind of blurs together to me............but I can't say I have a strong hot or cold feeling toward it. It ***might*** stimulate economic activity for the city, it ***might*** not, but either way just don't feel particularly inspired to talk about it either way.
🤣 aww sh| t the dude who got drugged & lost his watch ...... what a fabulous episode for some t.v. show!! No writers needed HaaaHaa reminds me of Fantasy Island or Hart to Hart 🤣
Definitely had crab legs at wicked spoon Sunday. Also definitely don't understand the hype of so much messy work for such a small portion of meat. Crab leg fan. Working for crab legs. Not a fan. Also found out that because I had weight loss surgery. They will give you a kids buffet price. Since you don't eat as much. Less temptation to over eat. Even tho I did haha
I'm not a Wicked Spoon fan either. The individual portions were annoying and you can't stack more than 3 on a plate which makes you eat slower and get full faster so you don't over eat or get your money worth. Go away f1. Hate the name change of the airport. Go to fantastic indoor swap meet and invest in a knockoff Rolex. I ❤ the renderings of the lodge. I can see the plan is to keep the fireplace in the middle of the room. Love it. New Kids on the block has a residency at Park MGM in 2025. Way more dates than the killers. January is already sold out.
Restaurants in Treasure Island are doomed to fail. TI is NOT in a good location: It is close to center strip so people may stay there, but it can never bring outside foot traffic. While it is close to Mirage, Venetian, Caesars & Harrah, it is on the OPPOSITE walking direction to/from center strip, so people staying at those properties will never pass by TI on their way to center strip, despite close proximity! Nothing interesting also happens north of TI (and Resorts World is too far away to be walkable) so no incentive for anyone to walk north from center strip & pass by TI. To make matters worse, TI front entrance is very unwelcoming & depressing, so it never incentivizes anyone to take a detour. On top of it, the property has a TERRIBLE layout with nearly zero signage, so finding the restaurants is also a challenge all by itself!
I don't think many Americans know or care about F1. NASCAR is the Big Dog in auto racing here. Back in the Wide World of Sports days they would show a few USAC races especially when Mario Andretti or Dan Gurney or the Unser brothers were running. Now the only Open Wheel racing I see on TV is the Indy 500. Is there even an American team in F1? I think F1 should just stay in Europe.
It’s annoying that F1has their races at midnight or later just for the Euros to watch on TV but dosnt care about the locals where their holdings the event to start it at a normal sporting event time so we will actually want to go
I didn't understand all the F1 hate last year, but I don't know why this year I totally understand it. The strip really does become a nightmare for people who are working down there.. and it seems every year the F1 drivers or "PiLoTs" are complaining about something in Vegas... well leave then!!
I like how you guys didn’t say to not get escorts / prostitues in Vegas , only to not get one when you’re with your wife on the trip. Now we know why ya’ll love coming down to Vegas so much 😂
The front desk at Fontaineblue should of noticed something was off and not given the husband the second room. They should be held partially responsible.
Yeah it’s strange that he rented a second whole room without anyone stopping it but then again I’m unfortunately sure it isn’t too uncommon for guys to do this.
@@EnydCrowfeather oh of course the husband bears responsibility but if someone is showing clear signs of being drugged and a lady of the night is with him there should be protocols in place to protect people. I mean women have codes we use with bar tenders when we are in trouble so there should be protections in place for men as well. I remember a trip to Vegas where I stayed at Cosmo and there was a guy arguing with the front desk staff trying to get access to another guests room. Front desk refused him multiple times before he walked away upset.
I still find it hilarious that some people still wear expensive watches, jewelry or clothes in Vegas' hotels. Things have changed now, no one gives a crap if you have expensive stuff or not. If you want to show off, you're just inviting people to rob you. 😅 Now if you're in Dubai or Monte Carlo then I can see why you need to show off that you're wealthy.
Yeah it seems like expensive stuff like Rolexes are just a signal to the wrong people. And most people don’t care. But there is a lot of other stuff that goes into it too. Someone wearing a Rolex would also have a number of other signs of being wealthy and honestly a lot of these men are stereotypes at this point.
Instead of crapping all over the victims or potential victims, how about they do a better job of preventing crime and punishing the criminals.? I know, it’s a crazy idea. I think we are capable of enjoying freedom and protecting people. There is a massive gap between harsh Singapore and everything goes San Francisco, we can and have find a middle ground.
@@paulieprinceton4550 I"m not crapping on anyone, I'm making fun of people who don't have common sense. Lol! We all know that there are crime issues here in the States, especially in touristy spots, but no politicians are willing to fix them. So people needs to have common sense when you go to popular tourist spots. There will be people who'll take advantage of them if they don't pay attention to their surroundings.
@paulieprinceton4550 who was gonna protect this particular guy? Who didn't have a problem with hanging out w/a stranger woman while wifey was upstairs 😆 Doesn't o.p. have a valid point? especially in this particular case..... uh yeah
F1 could totally disappear in Vegas and I wouldn't be the least bit upset. It's a major inconvenience for weeks for three days. I know it keeps us from visiting more often
Are you hanging out in Vegas for F1 weekend?
Staying far away from Vegas during F1. The traffic was bad enough in October while they were preparing for F1!
Ahaha, no.
Too far, I'm afraid! :)
Is this rage bait ?
🤣 just kiddin
I'm not a local but the traffic comments get me every time because it's like what do you expect. I enjoyed F1 last time and will again. These events are what make Vegas.
The Rio’s Parade in the sky was really fun. As was Treasure Island’s pirate ship show. So sad!
Wow what an offer. And very telling. That said, feel better! Hope the health turns around and you can make it back out soon. 🙏
@ hoping to. Have some great MGM and Venetian offers still coming through despite my absence - shows they’re trying to get lapsed clientele back en masse.
My friends and i renamed Bugsy's Bar at the Flamingo to The Hooker Bar. Great stuff as always guys.
Lol Aria raised food hall prices? I walked through there one time and walked right back out and to what a burger.

Thanks for shout out, Shawn!! I am now a lifetime viewer of MTM Vegas! (I was already).
Another outstanding show. Have a great weekend guys !
Thank you Scott!
We avoid F1 visiting Vegas for 2 months leading up to and 1 month after.
As far as buffets go you can't go wrong with the Wynn's so why take a chance? They are so good even their broccoli casserole is delicious, try it.
Agreed. Wynn is the best in town. Considering I don’t need to do buffets often that’s the one.
I've been to all the major buffets up and down the strip and The Wicked Spoon is my FAVORITE. My girls can't wait to go back!
best price for quality haven’t been in a couple years now though, but wicked spoon was awesome
When is the last time you ate there?
@ like late 2021, I ate at Wynn, Caesars and Excalibur buffets too, Wynn and Caesars are good but not worth the extra prices in my opinion
Love you guys 🤩 Great show 🤍
Thank you! 🙏
as long as i remember this is the first time the RIO has empty out masquerade tower for anything i believe that this is the first time for the NFR viewing
I was confused because of that watch party viewing but either way as I understand it the renovations are beginning in that area which is exciting.
Downtown grand I still remember when I got sick on a hotdog when it was Lady Luck.
No Sirens. That really sucked. Bring back the Pirates!!!
True. I liked the OG version better.
Wicked Spoon, we went last month, been going for years. No more, every time it drops in quality, and in every cheap way. $35 for locals is ok, is maybe a $45 value, now.

Please tell me that ALL F1 lights stations/stands will be down on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. This includes the stands at Bellagio.
NY NY, America Cafe and Chin chin breakfast buffet, both excellent choices
The Killers put on a spectacular show. They aren't popular enough but I'd love to see them at the sphere.
Thank you to our co-hosts for this segment on Friday. Happy weekend. Just my luck, the last pair of those designer shoes sold out just as we were ready to order “His and Hers”
It is indeed called googie and it is an architectural style.. you’re right!!
But what specifically are those little stars called? Maybe they don’t have a name.

L V International Airport for me

last month, same thing with bacon.
WoW there sure are alot of comments saying how bad W.S buffet is & how they'll never go back!😳
Good to know man
F1 traffic & closures have the streets in gridlock all around my house. I have to abandon all driving activities past noon 🙁
Yeah I’ve largely avoided it this year. Sad for those who can’t. Almost over soon!
So sorry 💔

Looks like they have a hard on for Yellowstone at Mt. Charelston
They should bring back the original show. Everything since then has been lesser.
We come to Vegas every year from UK, we come for Vegas, the F1 is for F1 fans, not Vegas lovers.
I loved Wicked Spoon! I thought the value for the money was much better than Bacchanal
I learned in Copacabana Beach not to wear anything of value out in public.
Cuba is a trip.
I saw a few vlogs that had gave wicked spoon good reviews.
Agree that Wicked Spoon is very, very unimpressive.
The Rolex was cheap compared to what the divorce is going to cost him!
Oh the drama.

It seems like it happens every few months.
😳@Milestomemories seriously?!!
🤣🤣🤣omg
F1 will we have a raiders player followed by a police car?😊
Let's go back to like you say, Las Vegas International Airport. Harry Reid didn't pay for the airport, We did.
No thanks as far as F1 or the whole month of Nov for that matter as related to F1
The real question is, if the properties can kick out advantage players, why can't they identify and kick out these ladies of the night?
LV airport to me… just saying.
Some men are “unattached” and maybe haven’tt had a date in a while and who knows?
I’d like to go to f1. But work gets in the way
TI needs a makeover.
FU F1!!!
Staying at Horseshoe. Couldn't get to the hotel via car for 3 hours yesterday. Complete shit show
How about "The crooked politician airport"
I don't think many Americans know or care about F1. NASCAR is the Big Dog in auto racing here. Back in the Wide World of Sports days they would show a few USAC races especially when Mario Andretti or Dan Gurney or the Unser brothers were running. Now the only Open Wheel racing I see on TV is the Indy 500. Is there even an American team in F1? I think F1 should just stay in Europe.
Yeah, that Rolex is nothing compared to what that divorce is going to cost him.😂
It’s annoying that F1has their races at midnight or later just for the Euros to watch on TV but dosnt care about the locals where their holdings the event to start it at a normal sporting event time so we will actually want to go
I didn't understand all the F1 hate last year, but I don't know why this year I totally understand it. The strip really does become a nightmare for people
who are working down there.. and it seems every year the F1 drivers or "PiLoTs" are complaining about something in Vegas... well leave then!!
I like how you guys didn’t say to not get escorts / prostitues in Vegas , only to not get one when you’re with your wife on the trip. Now we know why ya’ll love coming down to Vegas so much 😂
Primm for Trim is Mark's motto.
Haha Mark. That was Mark. 🤣
@@toomuchstuff4828🤣🤣🤣🤣oh lord!!!!!
16 arrests.
Sounds like,
"Saving Democracy."
Kackle, kacke, kack , kack, kac, ka ka k.
Calling F1 in Vegas a cash grab is so funny, the whole strip and downtown is a cash grab
The front desk at Fontaineblue should of noticed something was off and not given the husband the second room. They should be held partially responsible.
Yeah it’s strange that he rented a second whole room without anyone stopping it but then again I’m unfortunately sure it isn’t too uncommon for guys to do this.
Good Lord what if he had gotten in a fight w/wife + that's why 2nd room.... desk clerk can't babysit/read minds/interfere/etc
Personal Accountability
I'm sure the wife rented another room after it
@@EnydCrowfeather oh of course the husband bears responsibility but if someone is showing clear signs of being drugged and a lady of the night is with him there should be protocols in place to protect people.
@@moshemoshe-yy8hj LOL!
Thumbs up for F1. Thumbs down for Vegas and the higher and higher prices and resort fees. Glad i seen it before the bean counters arrived.
Who didn't have a problem with hanging out w/a stranger woman while wifey was upstairs 😆
Doesn't o.p. have a valid point? especially in this particular case.....
uh yeah
The Rolex guy is making up a lie
F1 could totally disappear in Vegas and I wouldn't be the least bit upset. It's a major inconvenience for weeks for three days. I know it keeps us from visiting more often
