    Great breakdown and information as always. I think the longer form instructional videos from yourself and other experts is the strength of the channel IMHO. Respect. 👊🏻

    I love the concept of “natural point of reload” - leaning into what your body wants to do. As with everything there are always exceptions; I’ve seen some shooters with some terrible “natural” tendencies/mechanics.
    Even with eyes closed, hands find hands. I can always find my other hand which is part of what makes gripping and reloading a pistol so natural.

    Sometimes when reloading on the move, close to the 180, you are in an awkward position and must reload safely in order not to break the 180....can you address this........also reloading off a table or barrel.

    Is there a difference when you have a few rounds left but want to transition to a fresh (full) mag? I imagine you want to keep the weapon down range and move the fresh mag as close as possible before dropping the mostly expended mag.

      Sounds like you’re referring to a tactical
      reload, which ideally is done behind cover when you don’t need to go fast. This video pertains more to speed/emergency reloads.

      @@TacticalHyve Well in competition you sometimes drop a mag with 5 shots left whilst running between targets so you have a full mag when you arrive at said target, right? That means you got one still left in the chamber. You wouldn't wanna angle the gun like that then right? Or isn't that even a problem?
      I've never thought about it before Ben here brought it up. Never had a DQ because of it either.

      For competition, yes, you can angle the gun this way as long as it doesn't break the 180 rule to prevent pointing the gun towards someone who may be watching uprange. The gun doesn't always have to be pointing downrange parallel with the ground.

      @@TacticalHyve I didn't know this. Thanks for the info.
      It does sound weird tho seeing as the berm wouldn't catch a ND then. I'm not complaining tho. Never had an ND and don't plan on having it either.

      As mentioned in the video, the concept applies to all guns. Apparently you haven’t watched the video.

    • @ambjornborjesson5481
      @ambjornborjesson5481 2 года назад

      Well. A magwell helps. But it helps with like 1-1,5cm extra. That means, if you don't know how to reload without a magwell a magwell won't help you very much. It helps proficient people when they slip up a LITTLE, during stress, motion or fatigue.

    Don't bring the gun in bring the mag to the gun. Always keep your eyes on the target get good at reloading without looking
