If your character identifies as "gay," he sashays around with floppy wrists and has a voice mod that overlays the user's with a lisp; in the middle of combat he'll randomly stop fighting and start whining about how he's being discriminated against by being put in dangerous situations, right before getting zerged by bugs who dismember him to the accompaniment of whimpery little girly-screams.
Trans identifying players, upon deployment into the drop zone, immediately refuse to do anything until they receive verification in triplicate that their transition surgery has been approved and will be paid for; bureaucratic processes being what they are, they will remain locked in place and unable to move, fire, or retreat, and will be flagged as "enemy" by all mobile infantrymen for fouling their company's kill:death ratio.
Anyone else demanding representation of any kind will simply die on start of game; no self-respecting soldier would tolerate their shenanigans, and would absolutely sabotage their atmospheric entry in the hopes Command sends them someone else who hopefully won't get them all killed. Or at least something fun, like a tactical nuke.

A book should present a question to people in the form of a story. The target audience is people like the writer, who resonate with the same ideas. Any deviation just leads to substandard products because a writer can only truly write stuff that one understands.
Games do have a target audience though.

There was an author's blogpost I remember reading where she compared the first page or so of a popular military sci-fi author to her own. In the former, it is full of technical jargon that have no real world equivelent and the reader is (mostly) assuming what they mean by context.
In case you hadn't guessed it, the post was about target audiences. It is the reason why you don't have gun porn in romances and you don't have detailed sex scenes in Tolkien.

If these `woke people` maybe learned some freaking restraint and kept things more tame, then they could enjoy the stuff they currently whine about, but when they push a bunch of stuff that is even more offensive(but even more ridiculous then the `face value`) as religious fanatics will break into your house to try and `convert you` to some religion they try to shove down other peoples throats. Then of course people dont want any more of that shite and rather multi-player gameplay in general be locked to things like stamps & preset messages for communication and keep any imagery that would get used for `political views` out of the freaking way. Then deal with people blasting `politics` in chat rooms & voice chat or flaunting particular `representation values`, like it makes them better then everyone else, yet everyone else is racist to them, where they are unable to understand they themselves are racist.~

The folks asking for more coloured capes/armour seem to have missed the part where the coloured armour and capes are closely tied to that particular helldiver's function. For example, an engineer's armour being bright orange with an orange cape lets their team know that they're packing extra explosives and resist explosive damage.
It's like all the ODSTs in Halo 3: ODST having different armour rigs and colour accents. You have to be able to pick out who's who while under enemy fire and know who has what. It's both tactical and practical.

It's not about white beauty standards really, it's about feminine beauty as a whole. They want young players to see a manish looking female character that is lusted after by in game characters to try to mold young opinions into thinking that transgenders are hot and you should enter into a relationship with them. They are stuck in the mindset that media promoted traditional beauty and that's why the population likes that, not that it's very human to naturally want to look at good looking people.

I mean, that's pretty much exactly what the lore is. The Super Earth Ministry of Truth just doesn't say it, because that ruins the point of the propaganda then. I'm genuinely surprised that Nexus Mods hasn't taken those mods down, considering how much they hate anything good.
Nexus is only really against radicalized political mods(mostly deep right wing of course, but they have removed radical leftist mods as well), the whole website has basically always been based around the cosmetics mods otherwise, and doing a 180 on that this far into its run would make no sense.
I thought I heard about them removing a mod because it promoted heterosexual choices or cosmetics (can't quite remember) so I was also surprised these haven't been removed.
