I talked to a legit Peterbilt body shop today....they do it just like this guy...straight cuts....they charge 10 k for the same procedure....shop boss say they do it all the time...he said if I had any mechanical skills I could do it myself......thank you for your video
if you follow the oem guidelines its a straight cut with a inner liner that extends 2ce the length of the height of the frame to either side of the splice and the ends of the liner should be cut at a angle and the inner liner should be bolted in.
@@ruxoneto6560 every oem I have ever checked says straight cut I don't know that iv specifically checked Kenworth. There be some slight variances from one manufacturer to the next
I have a truck that was stretched 6 feet and showed it to a potential buyer who said it was not legal to cut and stretch a semi truck, as many videos of cutting and stretching semi truck frames as I have seen I'm assuming he's full of shit and trying to get truck for as close to free as possible. Any one know the true legality of this modification?

We do them at Vanderhaags in the shop all the time.
4 States Truck Parts used to do them.
