Man, what a year 2023 was. This channel has grown a lot since then. I never thought I'd gain an audience from posting silly fnf charts of songs I personally enjoy. Seeing people coming back to see more of the stuff I make is really something else.

I swear, so many people were disappointed in the actual Golden Land in the aftermath of C0mixZ0ne. What we got was still good, but felt like a significant downgrade from what was fanon.
All this needs is some more animations and events for this to feel complete.

the new official golden land is rly good! it hits hard! im a fan! but god this one is just super good. it feels less like a remix and more like an evolution of golden land. an expansion of the song that imo makes it feel like it better represents a character whos literally marco antonio's (the official mod director) oc
also adding events would help sell what ive been talking abt

@@amb3rrif1c Especially since, while he isn't even close to being the main villain anymore, he's now being taken a lot more seriously as a reality-warper that trapped and killed his own creator in Black and White. C0mixZ0ne's Golden Land V4, intentionally or not, is much more reminiscent of what GB seems to now be building up to, and even if that wasn't a factor, would have been a more convincing first song if GB had been kept as the final boss.

​@@SmokeTheHorsehogI kinda wish they still made him a boss you would have to fight against besides ultra M. Imagine GB teaming up with Apparition Wario against BF. GB shifting into different Mario games would be cool.

@@Z3RO5286 That was actually the original plan for him: being able to travel into other games, and that coming into play for his version of All Stars.
This was at least expanded upon in Black and White, where it shows that GB can take on different forms depending on how he is modified through swapping game cartridges. His creator, Christine, found this out when she tried swapping Super Mario Land 2 for Kirby's Dream Land, where GB took on a Kirby-like form, and Pokémon Blue, where GB took the form of Red.
And this expanding of him beyond Mario's Madness, not to mention how Ultra M was pitched while GB was planned to be the true main antagonist, is probably why him being the final boss (and having more than one song) ended up being a scrapped concept.

@@Z3RO5286 And I would argue that I Hate You Luigi, MX, and You Cannot Beat Us fitting the criteria of being bosses. You Cannot Beat Us is obvious, being a ten minute long song, but only M, I Hate You, and MX get more than one song of their own. Everyone else just gets one song.
