I think Kira is the best villain. Here's why: 1. He has very unique reasons for killing (which I won't say here due to spoilers) 2. He doesn't really care about the main characters until they actually get in his way 3. His voice gives me the creeps 4. He's very intelligent in his killing and how careful he is 5. He has very few predictable scenes 6. He develops across the series, and learns about the characters' and his weaknesses (Sheer Heart Attack has no weaknesses) 7. He's good at acting natural and calm, even in stressful situations, which is why he stays hidden for so long 8. Has one of the best designed stands in Jojo (at least in my opinion) 9. That scene when he walks past the guy while blowing him up is the coolest thing I've ever scene 10. He only kills because he has to in order to keep sane, which we see during the Kosaku arc (when he loses it with Shinobu) If anyone wants to disagree with me, feel free, but preferably with logic and reason in stead of opinion.
Betelgeuse was pretty good, but in my opinion he was far too predictable, and wasn't developed enough (as he came in late in the story). If we'd seen some of his motivations, backstory or deeper personality, we'd understand him more than "He likes the witch so he kills people".
We had Kira for best villain so thats good enough for me but Crazy Noisy Bizarre Adventure or any of the other two openings should've been on best openings

Yuri On Ice was amazing and seeing all the hate for the anime because it is "overrated" it makes me so disappointed. YOI gave fans what they wanted without getting sidetracked of the actual story, it made ma cry so much, it was a rollercoaster of emotions and it's simply something new and fun that many anime fans enjoy watching. Just because an anime is overrated doesn't mean it's shit or it doesn't deserve the hype.
I don't completely see why people bash of Yuri!!! On ice mainly because it's so popular, but I still try my best to respect others opinions. I absolutely loved yoi and thought it was a moving and beautiful show, I also deeply relate to Yuri Katsuki due to anxiety and low self worth. Joshua Manjarrez I'm not really a fujoshi, but Yuri on Ice is really good. I really think all the characters are relateable, there's a diverse cast, the voice acting is well done, and some of the scenery is just beautiful!

I really, really hope Aki doesn't get too harsh with YOI because that anime gave a me a lot of hope and happiness. It felt really, really good to get LGBT+ representation in what was probably the most realistic and heartwarming couple I've ever seen in anime. Especially considering the fact that I hadn't even given the thought that they would become cannon much room to breathe. I had thought it would all just be fanservice, but instead I was given a healthy legitimate relationship that was too pure for words. ;-; Like, there were no hints at a relationship between them whatsoever when the anime was being advertised and yet- All I'm saying is that it felt nice for a gay relationship to be treated just as normally as a straight one in a medium that I adore. A large part of me thinks that because Aki is a fujoshi, it's not something she could really understand (which makes me feel bad, ahh, I'm sorry Aki..!). Gay relationships are so oversexualized/fetishized in anime that it sometimes makes me feel ashamed and disgusted of my own sexuality. Especially the Queerbaiting - which is something I had been sure YOI would do too, just like just about every other sports anime I've seen. I suppose what I'm trying to get at is, I really hope she doesn't throw too much shade/dirt at it and considers the feelings of us LGBT people... Also, I really didn't agree with the list either. Aki, I love you not much as Joey, but Kira... is a perfect definition of a unique, realistic villain. He does not want to real the world, doesn't want fortune or power nor wants to screw the main mc because of revenge. He just wants a quiet life and works hard for it and even has almost the same as the main cast screen time development.
I honestly think Yuri!!! On Ice should win anime of the year, and that is because it did something no other anime really has done. It has a gay couple that isn't just for Fujoshis, it also isn't for comedic purposes. Bunny Otaku Okay,but it isn't actually _that_ impressive,because there's another anime that already had a gay couple beforehand. Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku/Magical Girl Raising Project. Although they do end up dying near the finale,their relationship is potrayed as completely positive,and shows how close they are to each other. They get a lot of scenes showing how they are,and their "origin" scenes span much more screentime than the usual ones. Of course,everybody ignores them because they're a lesbian couple,and yaoi is more """interesting""" (no,it's just the fujoshis :/)
I know people who aren't fujoshis, but very much appreciate Yuri and Viktor's relationship. Plus, it's not just the relationship between them, I genuinely love the ice skating. The stories behind them, the skating in general. I enjoy the characters too, there were no characters I thought to be annoying. But still, I still even't have seen Re:Zero, so don't think I'm acting like I know everything, because I don't. Plus, I really do appreciate Yuri, he feels really realistic to me, and I enjoy that, a lot. Sorry I can't think of a lot of things to say right now

I'm just going to say, Yuri on ice made me go for my tissue box when Makkachin almost died. Animal's dying always gets me. No matter what. I cried my eyes out for the movie where the red fern grows, and I refuse to watch Marley and Me. And another thing anime wise for animal deaths. I personally thought that YOI is "meh"; the animation is pretty and the skating is accurately portrayed even though I didn't really get invested in the anime (though I never had much interest in sports anime to begin with). It's the fact that the fans are getting so annoying with their crazy shipping and hype that even a neutral person like me is getting a little agitated. Crunchyroll is putting YOI and other popular anime in so many categories in these awards because they want to appeal to the mainstream fanbase instead of actually finding good anime.

No seriously JoJo provided us with THREE openings over the time of 1 year, and all 3 of them were amazing and as JoJo openings tend to do, they usually have a lot of meaning in those openings, not just "pretty scenes" and good music, they had those 2 + meaning behind it and I just loved them all so much and I always hated to see one go but was happy it got replaced with something really great.

I really, really hope Aki doesn't get too harsh with YOI because that anime gave a me a lot of hope and happiness. It felt really, really good to get LGBT+ representation in what was probably the most realistic and heartwarming couple I've ever seen in anime. Especially considering the fact that I hadn't even given the thought that they would become cannon much room to breathe. I had thought it would all just be fanservice, but instead I was given a healthy legitimate relationship that was too pure for words. ;-; Like, there were no hints at a relationship between them whatsoever when the anime was being advertised and yet-
All I'm saying is that it felt nice for a gay relationship to be treated just as normally as a straight one in a medium that I adore. A large part of me thinks that because Aki is a fujoshi, it's not something she could really understand (which makes me feel bad, ahh, I'm sorry Aki..!). Gay relationships are so oversexualized/fetishized in anime that it sometimes makes me feel ashamed and disgusted of my own sexuality. Especially the Queerbaiting - which is something I had been sure YOI would do too, just like just about every other sports anime I've seen. I suppose what I'm trying to get at is, I really hope she doesn't throw too much shade/dirt at it and considers the feelings of us LGBT people...
Also, I really didn't agree with the list either. It was such a short selection of anime and titles kept reappearing - kind of disappointed in Crunchyroll.

I was just hoping that her negative feelings have less to do with it becoming as popular as it did (for some reason I get that feeling of frustration from her) and more to do with other legitimate concerns. I will gladly watch her video on the topic, but I still feel as though the reason it became such an important landmark for anime in general escapes her because she is a fujoshi. For people like me of the LGBT community, an anime like this is completely unheard of! As a fujoshi (and im not trying to be condescending, im just stating my feelings on the matter) I don't really think she understands these feelings we have...Fujoshi's tend to fetishize and oversexualize gay relationships to a disturbing degree! Anime like this is something they are used to seeing - that is, *yaoi* anime. But this wasn't yaoi, not at all. This is a sports anime that just so happens to have a gay relationship at its core! With the main characters no less! There's the difference!
Please don't try to speak for me and say things like "people are too sensitive" because things like this never happen for people like me and that's something I want to protect! Normalizing gay relationships is important! And as someone who respects and enjoys listening to Aki's opinions I don't want to see her *downplay* something that was so important to me and many others for what could be petty reasons! Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku/Magical Girl Raising Project. Although they do end up dying near the finale,their relationship is potrayed as completely positive,and shows how close they are to each other. They get a lot of scenes showing how they are,and their "origin" scenes span much more screentime than the usual ones.
Of course,everybody ignores them because they're a lesbian couple,and yaoi is more """interesting""" (no,it's just the fujoshis :/)
I know people who aren't fujoshis, but very much appreciate Yuri and Viktor's relationship. Plus, it's not just the relationship between them, I genuinely love the ice skating. The stories behind them, the skating in general. I enjoy the characters too, there were no characters I thought to be annoying. But still, I still even't have seen Re:Zero, so don't think I'm acting like I know everything, because I don't.
Plus, I really do appreciate Yuri, he feels really realistic to me, and I enjoy that, a lot.

It's the fact that the fans are getting so annoying with their crazy shipping and hype that even a neutral person like me is getting a little agitated. Crunchyroll is putting YOI and other popular anime in so many categories in these awards because they want to appeal to the mainstream fanbase instead of actually finding good anime.
