I am not intending to completely modify the bike as I think it would defeat the purpose of getting a CHPT3. Although I really enjoy seeing what you guys come up with.
I love the upgrades that you have made. I especially like the colour, navy blue and black. In my opinion, it is better than Brompton's own black version.
Am I dreaming, or are those tires beefier than normal? I’m desperately seeking a way to modify my Brompton to accommodate the cobble boulders here in my small Mexican village. I need better suspension and fatter tires. And suggestions?
Thanks Fredrick! yeah you can use 6 speed wheelset to your A line but you need to add the rear derailleur assembly and chain pusher as well for the external cogs to work.

Excellent video and upgrades! Outstanding bike! How would you do the reverse and convert a 2-speed Brompton to a 1-speed? Brompton has apparently discontinued production of single speed bikes. So, the only way to get the same simplicity and minimal maintenance is through conversion. Thanks for sharing your videos!
You are so kind Tanya, we are happy that we inspire you somehow, to convert it to single speed, you will only need some cogs spacers then remove the shifters, we haven’t tried it but any questions just give us a buzz!
Thanks, changing the rims of my Toyota Corolla doesn't make it a BMW, it is still a Brompton - just better - removing the parts that became rusty for some time making it more suited for the type of ride that the rider uses it for is the main goal.

Hi Henry, We haven’t check the weight after all the upgrade but we will get back to you on that, regarding the cost, upgrade cost more than the bike.

Beautiful! Will the DT Swiss gear shifter conversion work on my M6L? I really want to swap out the plastic shifters as they aren’t super comfortable.
We havent try it for internal gears, but DT Swiss just function so well with external plus the build quality is just amazingly good!

It’s the normal marathon racer, which is pretty good already, you can try using marathon racer plus.

With Black as the base, I think it will look good with any combination, it will only comes with the owners preference.
Tempest Blue is my all time favourite Brompton colour, too bad it's no longer available for 2022, got a House Red instead.
