Morning Light is thoughtfully built out and equipped by her knowledgeable owner and a fine example of the venerable Hylas 49', one of the most well-regarded offshore cruising sailboats ever built. Her fresh condition is the result of a life spent mainly in northern waters, cruising New England and a part of one season on the Chesapeake. Morning Light has always been winter stored indoors in a heated building with professional care and maintenance at one of the best boatyards in New England. The owner ordered the boat new and took delivery in 2009 and has been enjoying sailing with his family since.
Morning Light is extremely well-equipped and ready for offshore adventure. Highlights include: in-boom roller furling, generator, three-zone air conditioning (and heat), electric roller furling head sail, washer/dryer, water maker, completely enclosed center cockpit. This is all in addition to the standard luxury features of electric primary winches, full beam master cabin, VIP V-berth, 2 large refrigerator/freezers, and electric windlass. Great presentation for once. Some of these other channels talk too much about how beautiful etc... We can see that. This guy let's us make our own conclusions. That woodwork is above and beyond and the layout matches anything in a catamaran with the classic sailboat structure instead. She looks like she sails and you would be hard pressed to find better. My humble opinion.
