you can try a balance set up for hd600 and 650, i have couple 1k+ even 3k+ headphones but somehow i used my balance hd650 plugged into a $3k fax and amp system the most as a headphones.😅😅 still try to find a high end headphones than can replace my hd650.

1. Allrounder headphone for music and media: I'd go Edition XS or a used LCD-X. LCD-2C has poor dynamics that EQ can't help so they'll always sound a bit sluggish and relaxed. 2. Defining value: I'd always go with an allrounder unless I know more specifically what's wanted. Metal and EDM should sound good as well. I don't think Arya or Clear are allrounders as much as Edition XS and LCD-X since both have clear (npi) bass limitations even with EQ. 3. M1570 and M1060C are great for the price when EQ'd. I'd easily take the former over LCD-2's and the latter is a rare good closed back at it's price range. 4. Overrated/underrated: DT770 is poorly designed closed back that has all kinds of issues going on with standing waves etc so dynamics are mushy. Also K 371 and HD 280 Pro exist.. HD560s is okay, but a bit harsh and more of a studio tool than pleasure headphone. 5. Daily driver: EarFun Free Pro 2 with Oluv's mainstream preset. Just so damn good sounding, practical and cheap. 6. Regret purchase: HD800s. Twice. I love half of that headphone and hate the other. 7. Endgame is a self-hype attempting to stop purchases you can't justify to yourself. People who are just happy with their stuff don't need a term.
My daily drivers: Wired - Sennheiser HD600/58x, Wireless - Sennheiser Momentum 4 and CX Plus SE, Gaming - Sennheiser Game One. Yup, really like and liked Sennheiser sound. And, last but not least, IEM - Ikko OH10 (wired and wireless using bluetooth adapter). Endgame - there is none. :)
Can you use open back headphones outside, like I go for my daily exercise walks can I bring open back headphones outside, is there any advantage or disadvantage to using them outside, will the music sound worse outside with the wind and outside sounds compared to quieter indoor listening.
You're really close to answering your own question tbh 🤣 Nobody says you *CAN'T* use your open back headphones outside; hell, I've seen a guy adapt a 58X Jubilee to his bicycling helmet. It's more a matter of *WOULD YOU* use an open back headphone outside? Wind noise doesn't necessarily change the sound, but it will introduce noise which will definitely be an inconvenience for most people I know open backs are most optimally used in a quiet, indoor setting, so that's the situation I'll be using them. For situations outside of that, I'll use something else more suitable, mainly IEMs

Usally I just go a sit in my local park in the sun and listen there. I live in a quite neighbourhood in munich, so the ambient sounds are no louder outside than inside. Its nice, because I really dont enjoy listening to music in one place or room constantly.
The way I figure it is, when you listen to music do you want it in the background or front and center? I like a little both in my life. Having open back headphones, while still hearing your surroundings is it’s good sometimes, but it depends on how much you want to shut the world out.
