Thank you so much for letting us tour your house. I’ve been in the “early construction period” style of decor for so long it gets discouraging. But one day! I do have one room that houses my creativity and I love it’s decorating! So me! Even with the long arm in there.
I'm faithful to my yearly planner. I started my new one yeserday. I feel like it calms the chaos and keeps things moving in a way I can not only be productive but also enjoy my journey.
Oh I would use the purple for a border on the Star quilt! I'm making one in red white & blue as a QOV adding more stars so it will be an acceptable size to award.
Thanks for the shout-out for Canada Day Pat. I hope my fellow Canadians have a great day celebrating. I think the Eiffel Tower quilt fits in perfectly with your Americana. Remember, without the support of the French, the American Revolution would not have been successful. So great historical homage:)
Happy Canada Day from Alberta Canada. I loved the walk through to see all the quilts in your home. The quilt behind your sofa is breathtaking. You are so talented and kind to share with us. I start my day with your video because you are the positive energy that puts a big smile on my face. I am a quilter but now severely disabled , but do try to dabble in smaller projects now and then. You give me positive hope to keep on trying. God bless you Pat.
Your home is so warm and cozy! Thanks for the tour! The added rows of wave quilting just made that quilt pop!! I will use that tip in future quilts…thank you! Hope you and Gregg enjoy the holiday weekend! See you Wednesday!
❤ it when you do a home tour 😊 I had to laugh when you said string....actually its red aural fil thread weigh12 lol Ty for the Canada 🇨🇦 day shout out , sorry about the fires! Happy 4th of July.
Thank you for your patriotic tour! Your decorating is always so coordinated and looks so great! Thank you for sharing the New York Beauty quilt! I looked and didn't find it in the gallery so thank you. Happy Independence Day to you and Gregg!
Happy 4th of July! Hope you have enjoyed your holiday weekend! Looking forward to tomorrow;s video. Love the extra wave stitching, it definitely added to the quilt.
Happy Canada Day! And Happy Fourth to our Southern friends! Pat, your Paris panel still fits for July as July 14th is Bastille Day in France. I love to see all your quilts 🤩
Happy Canada 🇨🇦 Day! Sorry about the smoke 😮 My province was one of the most recent to have fires in Northern Ontario though I did hear Minnesota too I think.
I love the wave stitch! I have also made the length longer and the width wider on the wave stitch and it adds a whole different look, a bit more freestyle. If I were quilting that beautiful flag quilt, I would just outline the star with free motion in the ditch, maybe using a ruler and invisible thread. Happy Independence Day everyone!
Only a suggestion: for the pillow that you think the pillow form looks round, add some polyfill or even batting scraps in those corners to fill it out...good temporary fix while you enjoy the pillow case. I have had success that way. Loved today's video...as usual. Never miss one....just don't comment very often. Happy 4th!
I noticed your other fabric choices and checked them out. I loved Forest Frolic and noticed a tablerunner pattern to use a charm pack. The tablerunner has mushrooms, acorns and more. I thought you may like it. I’m planning to do this instead of pumpkins, did pumpkins last year. 20:47
So glad you shared your quilting process on the Liberty project! I’m piecing mine this weekend. Your home looks so lovely and festive. Thanks for the tour!
I love the Starlet quilt. I would like to see the very light aqua color for the border to make those stars POP! Have a Safe and Happy 4th of July and also a late Happy 43rd anniversary ! ❤❤❤❤❤
Love all your projects and also how you decorated with everything. The flag will look great hanging, love the quilting. Thank you and hope you have a safe holiday weekend.
I did 4 waves per stripe. I also outlined the star. I didnt like stripe fabric in the flad going vertically. I made the stripes go horizontally which i like much better. I used a combo of the fabrics to make the binding and used a red and white stripe fabric i had on hand for the backing. Very pleased and proud😊
Thank you Pat for showing us around in your beautiful home. I enjoyed it. My vote is for the teal border ❤. I hope you and Greg have a beautiful Fourth of July. Thank you for all you do.
Happy Fourth - I love all your ideas for hanging quilts. I need to try that as my walls are all paneled 😞. Think that would brighten things up. You do such a good job.
Dear Pat, I like the purple floral fabric you showed us on the video so that would be my choice for borders. I wish I had the wave stitch on at least one of my machines, but I do not. I did purchase the Liberty Box, but I had just finished up another flag quilt from another QAL called American Made. Working on my Haunted Halloween quilt so I can finish up and then start on the Evergreen Christmas Mystery QAL. I have not received my kit yet though. I was able to get everything for the Pumpkin QAL for the future. I also have the other Cluck Cluck Sew Pumpkin pattern too! Thank you for the tour. It was lovely. Thank you for all you do, and have a Safe and Happy 4th of July Holiday!
Hi Pat, between the teal and purple binding I choose purple. I don't remember a purple binding on any of your quilts, which are all lovely . I think the purple might be something different. Happy 4th!
Purrple is always the answer when it's a choice!! Love seeing all your quilts
I love purple too but I was kind of leaning towards that dark Teal in the 2nd row last block.
Thank you so much for letting us tour your house. I’ve been in the “early construction period” style of decor for so long it gets discouraging. But one day! I do have one room that houses my creativity and I love it’s decorating! So me! Even with the long arm in there.
Happy Canada Day! Be well Canadian friends. Happy sewing.
Thank you, you too Gwyn 😊
Love seeing that multilayered lasagna. Had the best in an Italian restaurant in Virginia Beach when working there. Ah, memories.
Lots of projects, but sooo organized. I have several projects going on, but I just have a mess.
I'm faithful to my yearly planner.
I started my new one yeserday. I feel like it calms the chaos and keeps things moving in a way I can not only be productive but also enjoy my journey.
I would like to see a purple border on your STAR quilt. Thank you for the tour of your home, the red, white and blue quilts look so cheerful. 😊
The purple floral is delicate yet contrasting for some pop!
Your home display is dazzling!
Happy Canada Day!
Oh I would use the purple for a border on the Star quilt! I'm making one in red white & blue as a QOV adding more stars so it will be an acceptable size to award.

Your decorating is lovely.
Loved the view of your quilts in your home. And, thanks for the wave stitch info. Your Liberty Box quilt looks so good!!
Is Fat Quarter Shop going to make any more Liberty boxes? I love that quilt.
I use Italian sausage in my lasagna. It gives it a little spice.
Your home is so lovely and homey.❤

Love the shirt!
Thank you for the home tour! I love the red white and blue designed quilts! Also love how the wave stitch turned out! Happy 4th of July!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I think one of the teals would look stunning. I love this quilt. You did such a nice job stitching it up.
I love the wave stitch! I have also made the length longer and the width wider on the wave stitch and it adds a whole different look, a bit more freestyle. Teal, I like the teal
Don't forget to give Pat that Thumbs UP :)
Purple little border and then a wider Teal border cause I love Teal. Lol. So I’d do both.
Your productivity is amazing. Are you sure you don’t have quilting elves who come in your workroom at night and get all your sewing done? 😁
Plus, she makes the videos, plans a month ahead.
Happy 4th Pat! ❤
The Liberty Box Flag looks great. I love the way you quilted it!
I will go with the purple, it is my favorite color...😂

I love your decorating with your quilts. I need to do that!!! It's beautiful!!!

Happy 4th to you & Mr. Gregg! Hope you get to relax!! I vote for the PURPLE on the star quilt (when would I ever Not vote for purple) for the border.
I love all your summer quilts on your walls. ❤️
Happy 4th!!!!
Great minds...I did the wave stitch also. Put free form stars in the star field.
I'm love the teal/aqua 💕
Purple border ❤
Thank you for the advice on the wave quilting and how to do a star.
Your house & quilts are lovely! Thanks for the tour.
Love the quilt tour....enjoy the holiday ❤🤍💙
Hi I often use that wave stitch to sew down the binding on the front of my quilts. It looks like hand stitches.
Thanks for sharing 😊
I like the purple
I cut the flag pieces yesterday. Plan to sew it today using the wave stitch. Also cut the pumpkin pieces so I am ready to go.
I would chose the purple with white that you showed.
Purple and teal. I would probably do a thin strip of each instead of one
❤purple is my choice
Good morning P. I think purple…
I would do a narrow purple and a wider teal border. No white❤
I vote for tiny border teal then larger border purple
Happy July 4th Pat. Enjoy your long weekend. You've been busy with all those nearly done projects. 😄
I say purple, since I'm a purple girl!
I make my lasagna with very thin long strips of zucchini because I’m a diabetic and trying to lower my carbs. It’s actually very good.
Teal will make it " pop"
I vote purple.
Love purple❤
Purple 💜💜💜

I love both teal and purple so yes it is a dilemma, but I’m going to go with teal. Unfortunately I missed how you made your stars and the sashing
