something I love about the lyrics in this song that I haven’t seen many catch is how throughout the entirety she says “blood is jaded” but at the very end of the last chorus she changes it to “love is jaded” I just find it really interesting and am curious about the switch up in lyrics. but anyways great reaction as always! love your energy and personality!

Yep had to sub! I've been in bands for years mainly playing hardcore and punk. My new band is a mix of thrash and hardcore but there's not many women singer that me personally have ever liked when they do their screams or growls. I always like Candace from Walls of Jericho, she always killed it. And everyone gushes over Tatiana from Jinjer and don't get me wrong she is an amazing singer and screamer. But Courtney Laplante's voice literally turns me on haha. Like I would kidnap her husband so her and I could get married, then I'd just piss her off all the time so she could scream at me haha. Just listening to this song my turkey's are done AKA my nipples are hard 😂

I don't think this has much to do with loneliness or misunderstanding. I think it's about an abusive relationship, either physically or sexually. "It was violent and rough; I was never enough". "Under pressure of influence; Not a curse that I caused". "It was never enough, it's never enough". All of this to me sounds like a person that's dealing with a very bad relationship. That's the way I look at it, at least. We all get different messages from the songs we hear, and the lyrics we read.
