Among all other videos I've watched that demonstrate the anamorphic lens, yours is really looks good and cinematic 😮 I guess the colour grading is really on point 💯

The results from the 15 Pro and the Sandmarc 1.55 anamorphic are really weird.
Can you do a full technical lens test, shooting target charts? That might shed some light. It might be that the cinematic software is exaggerating imperfections in the lens (assuming there are differences between how cinematic mode works on your two test phones).
Or it could be that some characteristic of the built-in lens doesn’t work well with the accessory lens.

the mist filters are nice, but the tele... just get a camera at this point...
