Yes, please do a deep dive. One of their most extreme older pieces, which doesn’t require Japanese to appreciate, is “The Night Before The Exam” one-take performance.

AG is always different and unique, lots of fun to watch. The spinning twin tails, from Mizyu, is known as the Mizyucopter, it’s her signature move.

Otana Blue (Adult Blue) is heavily influenced by the Showa era hit Futura Nikki by Akiko Wada and AG have even performed a mash up of the two songs with Wada. There's also a pun in the title as Otona Blue means Adult Blue and Otona Buru (which Suzuka sings) means to "act like an adult" and the song is about teenage emotional confusion. The lyrics explore "teenage awakening" ie the awareness of desire in others and their own desire to grow up and experience adult emotions. AG wrote the lyrics themselves when they were younger and I think it's an honest expression of their feelings as they approached adulthood, which makes some people uncomfortable. But AG never shy away from difficult subjects. They actually cut out some of the more explicit "phallic" bits of the dance and introduced a mime of a flower opening with a surprised look to emphasize the female.
Atarashii Gakko No Leaders (New School Leaders) was formed in 2015 by Asobisytem. Mizyu (the one with two ponytails) was already on their books as she was a back up dancer to Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and they brought in Rin, Kanon and Suzuka to join her. They do all their own choreography and also create dances for other groups. They have some of the most original choreo I've seen from an idol group. In fact they are almost an anti-idol group as their motto is "With individuality and freedom I'm going to stick out" and they sing about challenging themes and have appeared at Pride events and do some pretty avant gard art projects. In 2020/21 they joined 88rising to break into the US market and have had success on social media and just completed a small N. American tour. They recently broke out on TikTok in Japan with Otona Blue which is quite an old song and this First Take version has over 50M views.
