Seeing you two expressing your love makes me miss my husband who died nearly four years ago. We were married 49 years when he died, and we'd been through a lot of challenges. We also went through a lot of adventures.

I was a senior in high school in 1979 when this song came out. Unfortunately donny Hathaway took his own life. Such a loss. So talented
Please tell the whole story. Donny was diagnosed with schizophrenia years before. People didn't understand schizophrenia back then and he wasn't always taking his medication. It wasn't like he wanted to die.

The real story has to do with the experiments being done on Donny's brain that had 0 to do with Schizophrenia. Btw, Donny didn't unalive himself. There's no way he could have removed that safety glass without specific tools not available to a hotel guest.
