Honestly I disagree I feel that would make decidueye really OP the melting capability with atk up is insane. Leaf storm makes it so they can’t even get to you if u could then chase them down while they run away after. That’s brooooke lol

For me, Razor Leaf is my go-to when playing Deci, though Drain Crown is an absolute must on it for me. There are situations I find myself unkillable because of how much health that thing gives you in the late game.

Leaf storm works great with some sustain, drain crown makes it but decidueye really would love some defense buff to play this more, it’s clearly more of a jungle based build tho

I like to consider myself a Decidueye expert, even though I don’t have a badge for Deci and frankly my aim is as luck dependent as it is getting a good matchup for Decidueye, but I have notes regardless 1) The build isn’t bad, but Deci doesn’t need two items to increase attack speed, so you might wanna replace one, especially since Deci is a Pokémon who you can actually adapt what moves you choose depending on the situation 2) Razor Leaf is not the play in a comp like this, high damage potential and tank/objective shredder, but against two frail speedsters, you want to be as far as possible with burst damage, i.e Spirit Shackle (although this one probably doesn’t apply to Cris since he was probably intending to use leaf storm regardless) 3) Speaking of Leaf Storm, it is almost never the correct move, it requires Decidueye to be too close for it to be effective for very little reward, it’s an alright “get off me” tool, but you’ll more than likely never be able to take advantage of it as Deci is unfortunately very slow, in other words, Leaf Storm needs a buff 4) If you are aware of enemies presence, it’s probably better to avoid a confrontation, Deci is a character that theoretically could solo, but that doesn’t mean you can, Deci excels at team fights and should pretty much always be sticking to an ally 5) Cris did this one exceptionally, if there is anything you take away from this, it should be this, one of the most important things a Decidueye should know is this, know when to say “Screw this shish, I’m out”, a Decidueye isn’t exactly helpful when they’re fleeing, but you aren’t going to be helping anyone if you’re stuck in a respawn screen TLDR, Decidueye is versatile, a Deci doesn’t need attack speed items compared to most other characters, choose the best moves for your situation, pick your fights, avoid direct confrontation, stick to your team, know when to bail, and Leaf Storm kind of sucks

Shadow moveset is still more has more ultity, easier to check-map, but in this case you may need to position yourself in a confident spot (like place where the red bird unlikely to appear)
@5:40 you were already lvl 14 while enemy was lvl 12-13 and your unite was also ready …….. but instead helping mimikyu melt the top objective you went to jungle ????? So that definitely contributed to the lose
I had a similar match up with 2-3 speedsters, but I was Snipe shot inteleon, and still I did 38% of my team damage, I wasn't just unlucky to matched up against 2-3 speedsters, on top of that my team was trash, how worse can it get! 😓

Honestly. Not your best deci gameplay. You made several mistakes that i noticed as a deci main. You should have been aggressive with your unite around 4 minute mark. It has poke that you need. When you are running razor leaf. And not that aggressive around 2 minutes mark. Let the defenders and all rounder go in first and let them scout and engage. But it's unfortunate that the gyrados and mimi were beffing the whole game. They definitely threw as well. Specially mimikyu.
