Hi mark i have a question about a problem with a wiring issue on the hustler raptor solenoid,, i replaced the starter and solenoid on it and copied the wiring pattern from the old one i replaced but,,there is one wire i left out and dont know exactly where it goes, as far as cranking and running,,all that is good but when i engage to move i pull the handles in it shuts down. This wire is coming out of the wiring harness and is small and short ,,just long enough to reach the solenoid, or it might could be a ground, which i have tried but still shuts down, this wire must complete the safety switch circuit, do you have a clue where this wire connects ?? If anyone could help, it would likely be you. Big thanks, friend.

Mark, I found it to be a ground wire, also had to put the belt back on the drive, the belt grabbed the wiring going to the
P t o and cut one of them , got that repaired but the pto when engaged doesn’t start the blades, I don’t know if it might be the switch or not. I’m going to take a look at the repair on the wire to make sure that’s good. I checked the one fuse and it’s good also.do the pto switches fail often ?
