- Abandoned Pizza Hut - Washington, PA. Here we are yet again at another closed Pizza Hut. This one has been closed for a while. Before the virus struck. As for when exactly it closed, I could not find the info but based on the last reviews for this location, I assume 2018 or early 2019.

As somebody born and raised in Washington PA this is sad to see. I remember walking down that ramp several times as a kid. Last time I went back it seems the only resturuants left are the chains. 4 star pizza,Osso's Pizza and Shorty's hot dogs are still there thankfully.

This Pizza Hut closed December 16th, 2019. My friend used to work in this one! They closed all dine in restaurants in the area. (one by Chestnut street which is now a Pawn Shop) Loved going to this one to sit down and eat. Another beloved one closed in Wellsburg, WV recently as well. Sad to see all of them go!
This was the Pizza Hut where, at five years old (1982), I insisted on trying the red pepper flakes in the little glass shaker. Mom warned against it but let me shake some on a slice anyway......needless to say, I learned an important lesson that day, while mom stifled the giggles, she gave me all the ice water in the big red cups that my burning mouth could swallow 🥴 followed by a loving but firm, “I told you so!”. From then on, it was only the shaky cheese for me 🙂

Grew up in this area. Remember there was a PH out on Chestnut Street that is something else now, the one at Donaldon's Crossroads that has been torn down and something else is there now and this one. Took my wife on our first date to this one almost 38 years ago. Sad to see it go.

Plot twist: the PH is actually open but closes on purpose when they know you are coming , just to piss you off. Once you leave, it opens back up and serves very delicious pizza

I was born in WashPa, most of my family still lives there and have been to that Pizza hut many times. I saw Hill House on Maiden st closed too. Glad Osso's is still open

Another fantastic video. They are pretty much closing ALL the sit down Pizza Huts and keeping the smaller pick up ones.
I grew up there and it is sad to see businesses closed. Too bad you couldn’t get the light to take home.
They used to have the best pasta dish (Erie had it for awhile). I think it was Cavatelli. It was delicious!
Operating Pizza Hut in Latrobe, PA. The restaurant is across the highway (Rt 30) diagonally from the abandoned ice creamery you explored about a year ago. (The location is now a Sheetz)

I did some jobs recently for work, taking photos of closed A&W stores near me (to ensure their branding was removed). Because of watching your videos, I knew I could get interior photos by pressing the camera up against the windows.

Sad to say Pizza Hut is moving away from dining restaurant to a pick up in delivery’s in the. Sitting down Pizza Hut are closing up in leave to sit there for years with no other purpose in moves to smaller restaurants

Wallie, Pizza Hut here in Weirton,WV is still open. Our Pizza Hut restaurant is the sit down type. Granted, it's an hour drive each way between Pittsburgh and Weirton. So, should you be willing to drive an hour to eat Pizza Hut pizza, come to Weirton,WV. Have a KMartlicious Day! Have a Pizza Hutlicious Day!

In York, PA we had 3 old style Pizza huts we lost one last summer, but we still have 2 eat in Pizza huts!
I prefer a privet owned Pizza shop or restaurant over chain places.
I live right down the street from where this pizza hut used to be, and it is has since been demolished, and the built ANOTHER carwash right there

Pizza Hut has always been a great restaurant to eat at! It's sad to see some of them closed and abandoned! 🍕👍😀 Speaking of abandoned restaurants, there is an Applebee's in Lufkin, Texas that is closed and abandoned! I was very shocked to see that! Seem like to me lot of pizza huts stop Buffet style and buildings that look more like pizza Hut style it is very sad too.

Hey love the videos! i use to work for pizza hut there was a corp. named NPC international that owned alot of Pizza Hut's they filed for bankruptcy they were in major debt they closed the dine-ins and sold as many carryout delivery only locations they could the one i worked at was located in Jasper Texas it was a dine in and its closed now and im out of a job

We too, were frustrated as our restaurants have not been living up to our expectations . sooo, we make our own pizza!and steaks , and its better than anything out there . Buy pre made dough at a Italian or Portugese bakery and do your own thing . Kayla can prep the dough and you can do what you want Our Pizza Hut story = the one I used to go to around here used to be a famous deep dish pizza place in the early 1980's but changed to a Pizza hut in 1984( sadly ) . It was there until early 1990's and became a hamburger joint and now it is a Middle eastern restaurant . I do not know of any dine in Pizza Huts up here in the greater Toronto area! We have take out ones,only . I think that company is on a long fast slide downhill. But I still see commercials up here . I think they even deliver still !
That particular building looks like it can be re purposed .next to a hotel = good .
In the grand scheme of things,doing your videos, it must be sad to see businesses closed,abandoned but it is a good chronicle of once what was and hopefully we can learn from your filming .

I live near a Pizza Hut, but it's attached to a small plaza on West Chestnut St.
These classic aesthetic pizza huts are gonna be getting harder and harder to find! I have one by my house that closed in the 90s and reopened as a hair salon. It changed quite a bit bit you can still see the pizza hut DNA. Its like a beige, mono tone hut with horizontal blinds.
Pizza Hut though was just so good!

Mall aholic this was my Pizza hut it closed i think it i remember September 2019 it's sad it probably closed around the The one in Iowa you just filmed in Dubuque Iowa.
The one by me is now a Boston Market and the other one is now a authentic Mexican restaurant which was a German restaurant which was a Pizza Hut

The Pizza Hut in Saginaw, MI closed last year. The location was a franchise and I heard that the owner was going to retire but covid lead him to closing sooner. I believe the closest one now is the Midland location.

oh it did i thought it was september 2019 between that or summer 2019 i ate here before it closed jan 2019 i don't know but i live less then 10 mins from here on sycamore street this is across the road from the homedepot former kmart that opened in 1963 closed 1998, and the old walmart at Oak spring shopping center 2nd generation one like the one wallie did in Leesburg Virginia now a Biglots which moved in the 90s to a walmart supercenter at i can't remember the shopping center trinity point plaza i think is the name it moved next to the starbucks also i might film my Wines and spirits that recently closed in washington pa next to the Homedepot old Jcpenney it closed because it moved to the Old Dress barn at the same plaza Trinity point plaza next to the walmart and Across from sams club.
