  • Getting my 2024 Honda XL750 Transalp ready for some adventure riding. So, upgrading several items for the challenges of going off-road and hitting dirt!! The video is about me, the beginner adventure motorcyclist who is preparing the bike and myself of the "possible" dilemmas I could face while riding off-road (BDR's) or just my backyard desert country surroundings. FACE...the dirt (My Motto).

It would be cool if you didn’t have music playing when you are trying to explain how to put the valve through

well, there you go, I have my AX41's sitting there for a month. Just got my Transalp last Saturday and was wondering, "Am I going to do the tire change myself or bring it in". Have no choice now seeing you video! Ordered my Beadpros. Wish me luck

Good luck, when you do it…take your time. Let me know?

Also, remember the tires will need balancing. I purchased the Tusk Motorcycle Wheel Balancing and Turing Stand online. If your going to be riding on paved roads, this is a must (my opinion).

Hey there Mr Lopez. Good video content you put out there. I was wondering are you going to be parting with the OEM dunlops that came with your Transalp that's if you still have the tires ?

@@RainePease-nx3tt thanks for asking. I decided to keep them, so if I decide to take a tour ride on asphalt roads, I’ll probably put them back on.

Not good practice to loosen or tighten bolts with an open ended wrench, but im guessing you know that.

Agree 100%, I’ve since packed a few sockets.

Have no idea what you were doing with that wire thing... Would be nice to know. Also, how did you lift the front tire? The bike didn't appear to be resting on the lift? I have that same lift and the same OM bash plate. Will it support the bike?

Yes, it’s a tire valve stem fishing puller. Makes pulling the valve stem through the hole without struggling with limited space for hand. Yes, I used my motorcycle jack, with its placement under my skid plate. The balance was ok, but next time I’ll try using my center stand, which I didn’t have at the time.

@@FACELopez Thanks. I called OM and asked about the skidplate and they said yes.
I used ratchet straps to keep the bike secure on the lift. The bike is rear heavy for sure.
