  • Today we replace the rear brakes on this Peugeot Partner which is the same as the Citroen Berlingo. This is the 1.6 HDi. Some Peugeot Partners may have rear drum and shoe brakes depending on age and model etc. The wheel bearing on these little vans is part of the brake disc assembly so we will cover the replacement of that too in this video!

Fantastic video , did both my rear pads and discs on my berlingo . Had to buy a 36mm socket. Had up too 34mm. Also had to learn how to use that wind back tool. Us pro special kit. Amazing. Need to do front now. Thanks for video.

Thanks for the comment, my older videos probably weren’t as good but I’ve been trying to be a little more clear so it’s nice to hear it was helpful 😁

Where did you put axle stand?

You can put it at the back where a tow bar would mound mount or if fitted you can put it under the tow bar itself but other than that you need to use the reinforced jacking points on the pinch weld
You can often lift the front super high which lifts the back also and you can pop a stand under the rear jacking point
Or you can modify your jack like I have to have a safety interlock 👍🏽 many modern cars are very tricky because they’re designed only to be safely lifted on a car lift - definitely don’t put a stand under the rear beam! It will bend it
