@@HeadlessMaruder i still think it's demise. When they showed ganon he had short hair. But the first character we saw had long ass hair so I think it's either both of them are here or Gannon transforms into demise.

Why would they do that? I think Tears already has shown it's strong enough (with the Tears themselves) to stand on it's own. Any time travelling will likely be through a special Zonai crystal - likely found in one of the Sky Islands.

This is going to be a fun game. I say that as I was a skeptic seeing it as only glorified BOTW DLC. But it now looks like a complete story, tons of new areas, I think I saw a few dungeons in there (My guess is Ghost Ship and Arbiter's Grounds are 2 of them). Ganondorf looks epic, I love his voice acting too. I'm excited.

hear me out for real, end of skyward sword demises spirit gets absorbed by the master sword, we know that fi is still in the master sword from the dlc so does that mean demise is too? The master sword is clearly broken in this game which would either release or destroy demise. seems like he definitley survived

Yeah, but at the end of Skyward Sword, Impa said that the Master Sword was destroying the last remnants of Demise. Plus, Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom take place thousands of years after Skyward Sword, so I hate to tell you, but Demise is LONG gone.

The world is so totally vivid and I know you're going to be exploring all of it. We enjoy your content, so keep it up!!! Personally, I think this is *Twilight Princess* Ganondorf. Here is my point: When Ganondorf died on Hyrule Field that day, the *Royal Family* had to have done something with his body. There are several unanswered questions that we will need the answers to and they are: (1) Who is holding him down? (2) Are they friends or are they foes? (3) Why would they hold him down instead of just getting rid of him outright? (4) Is some kind of time travel involved? (5) Will Fi or Ghirahim come back? Is the Deku Tree dead for good or will he come back? I guess we'll find out in less than a month... 👲🤔

Does anyone else think the new race we saw (the beat up character with horns and Zonai hair ornaments) is actually the Deadrock being given the Zora treatment? The Zora were originally enemies in A link to the past but they were made their own communicable race in Ocarina of time. Considering how many games feature the Deadrock as minor enemies, it would be kind of nuts if they were the Zonai this whole time.

I think the person in front of the blood moon is demise he looked bigger and bulkier than just ganondorf. I think we’re fighting both as the master sword got broke so demise got unsealed and revived ganondorf to fight alongside him

I still think this trailer is showing us Ganondorf transforming into Demise or close to and the same with Zelda .. heck maybe even split apart into 2 different entities. I feel like this game is the end of the cycle and loop but the beginning of something at the same time. What do I mean by cycle and loop? This feels like the prequel to skyward sword, after this game resolves we could have 2 endings sort of like ocarina of time where the hero fails or wins. failing means going back to skyloft as the surface becomes too dangerous that Hylia takes the residents to the sky away from the demonic invasion. Or, if the hero wins it breaks the cycle into something unknown/new away from the Demise curse.

Zelda's find me comment seems to mirror skyward sword when you were searching for her before and now with the master sword damaged. We're going to have to reforge the master sword the same way as it was made then.

Not gonna lie, after watching the trailer, I can't help but wonder if Tears of the Kingdom may just be the end of an era for The Legend of Zelda in the same vein as Endwalker being the end of the overarching saga that had been taking place in FFXIV since the game's initial launch. Especially when you consider the possibility of Demise, the origin of the curse that has plagued the land of Hyrule ever since the end of Skyward Sword, may finally return in this game.
But regardless of how things turn out, there is at least _one_ certainty. This is going to be the biggest Zelda game yet. And one that'll absolutely be worth experiencing.

I am not a Zelda hater. I love Zelda. I was just a bit skeptical before this trailer because everything they showed us prior looked like BOTW with just a little extra added. I agree, though. This trailer did ease my fears about this game.

Breath cannot hold a candle to this, it was an _awful_ game. All the criticism from Breath has been accounted for by Mr Aonuma (well, nearly all - still dunno about underwater exploration.) *This* is what a Zelda game looks like. 💫

I don't think so since Link has to find Zelda somewhere and when. If it switched, we'd know where she was and could go right to her.
NO streamers are making the connection between the intense guy, and the figure from the box art surrounded by the tears, thats him, the name is Rauru, and he is also where link got his hand, HUGE reveal slipping every streamer by today it seems. He is also the one speaking, and the character who puts his hand on Zelda's shoulder.
WHOA. How did you find this information that that person is called that name?! I had put all of this together that the intense stare horned person was the person who was putting their hand on Zelda's shoulder and also had the same arm as Link's cursed arm because it's quite obviously the same, but Game Explain did a live react where they put those two together as well... With a further theory that I had managed to put together as well - that the tears are to do with the sages and there are actually seven sages and originally seven seals (Like OoT medallions) which are now 7 tears. Either 7 or 4 dungeons, why? Three tears are with Zelda, Link and Ganondorf and the other four are the four champions. What they further stated I didn't realise, when using the tears it allows each character to connect to their original selves and spirits even going so far as to morph into them slightly (hoping for epic in game transformations tbh) which Zelda becomes Hylia (blonde fairy lady firing yellow lights with the tear glowing on her necklace), Ganondorf becomes Demise (if you freeze frame Ganondorf he ACTUALLY HAS THE TEAR ON HIS FOREHEAD), and Link morphs into the intense stair horned person that you called Rauru. Where did you find out this character name information as I haven't seen it anywhere? Also Sidon and the lil bird dude have coloured Tears too - Sidon on his hand is blue - Rito bird is on his leg/tail and is green. So similar to the previous colours/dungeons and also the champions can hopefully fight alongside you fingers crossed!!! 🤞🏻

Im not even attacking them, I thought the way they revealed him was perfect. But I was, after the artbook leak, shocked that, and im not joking, EVERY channel, in that one scene, responded with confusion.
@@vohas2691 Not only that, we got two scenes, with Rauru, which is who he is, the figure surrounded by 7 tears, on the game cover, and he voiced the entire scene, of him resting his hand upon Zelda. Again, not special, just an observation, from watching every single channels reactions. Go peep for yourself, I can provide time stamps. I feel this is amazing, and Nintendo, has done amazing at a BIG reveal, and waving it in our faces, yet no channel, in the MOMENT, grasped it.
Which box art are you looking at. The main box art for Totk has link looking down from a sky island. There's no one surrounded by tears on that art.
