I thought that nothing would top the final trailer of BotW. Then this trailer showed up and my flabber was completely gasted. Tears appeared, but it wasn't the kingdom that produced them.
I loved it for sure but I feel like the music along with BOTW feeling like a throwback to a bunch of other LOZ games still put it above this new trailer. It still makes me cry to this day and I consider it to be one of if not the best game trailer of all time.
Man watching Deebee fall in love with a franchise I adored for ages is awesome it feels like sharing something you love with a friend and that friend loved it too and now you both get hyped its been an awesome journey to witness since the first breath of the wild episode till now

I'm still practically shaking over this hours later. How they managed to recapture the sheer level of the BOTW trailer is incredible, and the amount they've crammed in as well whilst still leaving so much surprise and mystery. It feels so far away but so close at once. Will be a long month!
I’ve been playing Zelda games since Links Awakening on the Game Boy, to say I was feeling emotional watching this was an understatement. This franchise means so much to me and I can barely contain myself after watching the trailer. I’ve pre ordered literally everything lol, the OLED console, collectors edition, pro controller. It’s all coming in a months time and I CAN’T WAIT!

Going from Game Boy to Ocarina of Time on the N64 blew my mind, in much the same way discovering and exploring the vast world of Hyrule did when the Switch launched. I really can’t wait to play Tears of the Kingdom! Go back and play some of the older 3D titles too, they’re timeless! Majoras Mask was my favourite for many years thanks to the awesome mask mechanics and replay value with the three day cycle.

Oh I envy you SO MUCH on the collector's edition. I've yet to be able to snag one from the trickle Best Buy has been releasing bit by bit. I've had it in my cart TWO TIMES and gotten fucked over. I got the SWOLED and pro controller, but the collector's edition? UGH!
The 2017 trailer makes me well up every time I watch it or hear the music, so this trailer had a pretty high bar to reach for. And for me, it did it. I don't think I'll get AS emotional every time I see it, but it absolutely increased my excitement even beyond what it already was.

I know right! Gleeok hasn't been around since Phantom Hourglass and it's so crazy that Nintendo is bringing it back. Honestly, this sequel is gonna be a bang!
Out of everything I saw in the trailer, seeing Teba's son Tulin taking action got me the most hype. I hope Teba still has a role in the narrative, but I'm excited to see Tulin's character explored and having him along for the journey.
Looked like there could be possible time travel too. Zelda fell through the ground but then it showed her on regular land but with no sky islands. So where or when is she, that it’s so hard for Link to find her?

Let’s all cry when it releases. When Link came out from the chamber in Breath of The Wild, and shows the world outside, I cried so much and had goosebumps with the song, and will not be different with Tears of The Kingdom. Let’s just say that we are the Kingdom of Hyrule, and will have so much Tears of emotion in this game.
True happiness is knowing the hype for this game years before it ever came out and then watching it become immensely popular and as loved as it deserves to be.
For anyone with really keen ears, you can actually hear the Twilight Princess theme a few times in the trailer. Only a few notes per but they're there and during points of related interest. This IS Ganondorf's first appearance since his "death" in Twilight Princess. He still has the same scars, and likely remembers what happened thousands of years ago. No matter how many times this man "dies", he just keeps getting back up. There is a connection to Twilight Princess here, and it's really exciting. I don't know how far it'll go, but it would make sense.
Oh, my God, the trailer is fantastic and it got me so emotional I almost cried when I watched it. Seeing Riju and Prince Sidon fighting along Link got me super excited, I wonder how they'll be introduced to the game. Loved your reaction, I can't wait for you to play TotK!
Imagine if now, with even Ganondorf being voiced... Link still being silent for all the game, but in the FINAL fight, he actually talks, voice acted, with an actually good and epic voice. Super determined, shouting about how he will save Zelda and the Kingdom, how he will end all their nightmares, break the cycle, wipe away the Tears of the Kingdom... just before delivering the final blow, to end things once and for all! That would be an epic conclusion! And I don't think it would even be out of line. In BotW we learned, that Link does not talk, because he feels overwhelmed with all of the burden resting on his shoulders (or something like that). But then, in that moment, to put at ease all the people that are worrying for their lives, that are shedding tears, being in absolute panic over the outcome of this final battle... he conquers his own fears and speaks out loud, to reassure people that HE has, at last, undoubtedly become the hero that will finally bring them true peace!
Link talks in botw, to npcs,impa ect. Since he lost his memories he forgot about the stress and burden of being the knight to protect zelda. So technically he could've spoke in botw voice wise.
It's really nice to see Deebeegeek going from "not caring / too old to start the Zelda franchise" to a "die-hard fan". It helps when the Zelda fanbase is one of the most approachable and beginner-friendly around.

I think the dungeon in the desert is arbiter's grounds from TP since it seemed to be buried in BotW

if that was Riju, she appears to be slightly bigger compared to BoTW, so maybe just a few years have passed since the last game? Sidon looks pretty much the same.
Oddly enough, my favorite part of the trailer is that sweet sax playing.
I think the thing that’s raising up in the desert is the Arbiter’s Grounds from twilight princess.
