    I love the look of the paper. Another idea, a church put something similar to this together, and rather than paper in the tube, we sanded the outside. The sanding masks the LED a bit but does not completely hide the LED (which is why the paper looks better in my opinion). In that particular church the nearest congregant would be about 20'+ from the tube

    Anotherway to put the LED, would be to twirl it around a stick with good glue, and than put it in the tube with the paper. So the light affects all the sides of the tube

      I like that! I was wondering if the U-channel was too deep. Will have to try both.

    Use PEX tubing my man. No craft paper needed. A bunch of Christmas Lightshow guys use it.

    Crowd control and direction would be my first use. Very visible, pretty, barrier to drunks

      Yep! The 4' of LED tape for one tube is like $5, the tube is $2, the paper is cents, and $1 for wire :)
