I'm a Brit a have been to Cyprus, Australia, Spain, and Italy all in scorching heat, like 40 degrees or something and you're so right. 30 in the UK is like 35-38 in those countries our humidity can suck a left one.
I have been loving this game since i got it. So challenging, you can hustle but it is tough. Most of the time it wants you to play by the rules, be smooth and fast. Have had so many spins upsetting the rear end. Havent been brave enough for Bathurst, only Silverstone and now onto Career mode. Even the start of career mode is hard!
I usually really struggle with Bathurst (GT Sport), but this 'sim' taught me to drive smoothly, and that is the secret to navigate the dipper and esses, particularly.
I ended up getting all three track medals there quite easily, to my astonishment

u might argue that one game simulates better than the other but that does not make a worst simulation an arcade game.. that's just a typical fanboy comment.. GT is such a big brand.. Big brands tend to have people who blindly love it or hate it.Reasonable mature people don't usually see things black or white if u know what i mean. As a whole
GT sport imo is one of the best offers out there.. not the best in everything but pretty decent at simulating on what a car behaves regarding your inputs, online ranked experience in general is one of the best if not the best once u get high enough level. we should apreciate all different aproaches from all developers, we all have to gain.

Will be good in a year, reviews are shocking too, shame they released a unfinished game, also my thrustmaster TMX just doesn’t work with it :(
I have the tmx. It does work. Best solution is to start the game with your controller with your wheel unplugged. When the title screen appears with the START GAME message, plug your wheel in and press the A button on your wheel. The wheel should now work properly.
Paul B yeah I’ve done that but I only have any force feedback in corners, for example I don’t have force feedback until the wheel is at least 30 degrees then it kicks in and wobbles like mad, also call me old fashioned, but I expect a game to work when it comes out and not have to muck about with unplugging controllers, it’s a joke

I'm having problems with my Logitech too, I think this game is just rlly buggy and there will be patches out soon I reckon
You need to start the game with a controller, go into a session and press drive, pause the game and turn controller off, turn wheel on and sign back in and should work. I sometimes have to go into the wheel settings and back out just to refresh it and that works. Might be faster ways but this is how I’ve got the TX to work👍🏻

As cool as the game looks, if you want to play it with a wheel, it is utter crap. Don't waste your money like I did. You only have a few parameters to change for wheel and no given presets for any wheel. Also, the graphics are really stuttery, almost totally unplayable at times

It’s gets some hate, I don’t see why I think it’s really good especially for a console. This is by far the sim I enjoy the most. It’s the perfect amount of balance in what I look for, I racing is great just to serious for me. This game finds a really good balance in between being a full sim and a arcade game. It’s sim enough to make it feel realistic and but also kind of plug and play at the same time.

AJ Racing No! I’m struggling big time with PS4 controller. Brands Hatch is my worst track but surprisingly I can clock a nice time on Bathurst.

Note: The two drivers listed as part of McLaren Shadow are no longer McLaren Esports drivers. Enzo Bonito (2018 eRace of Champions winner) has since left for Ferrari and Bono Huis (Formula E Vegas eRace winner) is now part of Mercedes. There is actually a way to get McLaren Shadow Project winner Kevin Siggy Rebernak as well in the game if you pick the second variant of the car.
That's a good demonstration of how racing with f1 game AI can destroy the racecraft of a good racing gamer...
not only the AI of the game tho, don't forget the fucked up physics too... Still mindblowing to me that developers like codemasters get the license to make the F1 game... imagine the team of ACC making the F1 game... Guess it will only be a dream :(

i like the new angle but it needs work. you are smaller in this new frame and i think that the white walls in the background wash you out. maybe if you added smth behind u like ur monaco ornament on the straight on camera angle. or if it was a little lower so we could see your wheel more. right now its just empty

When the GT4 dlc drops and we can do multi class racing in private lobbies. I fully expect a simulated Bathurst 12hr Ben. :)
Also, this game rocks.
I hope the AI will handle slower cars well, so we can race multiclass offline too. Im sure they need some adjustment tho.

Honestly Ben I would have thought you would have been playing it on the PC. Also, for information about the game you should get out Arris (he worked on the game) and does long lengthy streams going over car tips/set ups and all that.

Instead of sponsoring youtubers, 505 shoud fix this game on consoles, this is simply unplayable right now : input lag, settings are messed up, sometimes wheels are not correctly recognized by the game, 30fps is a shame and it's not even constant....
Now I want to know how in the world you expect a 7 YEAR OLD hardware to run a PC killer game at 60 fps. Come on, it's seriously unrealistic and stupid to ask a small team like kunos the moon.

TheOldMan 59 AC doesn’t use the Unreal engine, it was developed using unity which is why they can get a full 60fps on that game. You can’t even compare the two and not to mention it’s 4 years old on console.
Daemon Hansen I’m not saying it’s a bad game, but if feels incomplete, unfinished, and that’s frustrating. It’s full of bugs, lags, and that’s clearly an issue (I get headaches after 1-2 hours of playtime).

You were right about the steering delay. Unfortunately there is a good amount of input delay wit ha fanatec. Other wheels have the same issue but they seem to have different amounts of delay. hopefully it gets sorted out soon

I'm pretty sure ACC is on sale right now for the Steam Summer Sale. Both it and the DLC are marked down. I know they sponsored your console video, but go pick up the PC version and you will enjoy this game a lot more. Plus GT4's are going to be added next month and won't hit console until later this year.
Is the game capped at 30fps on the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro? The way I read their explanation was that it was just for the original consoles, might be wrong though

Part of your driver ratings. There is an option on the homepage to view all your scores and it explains what each score is and how to improve
Any contact you have with AI or only players you loose SA, to gain SA you need to do close racing, clean overtaking. On pc I'm on 89 SA.

I know this is a sponsored video but you should get the game on PC. Having to play it at 30fps is doing it a massive disservice. I honestly think they should've waited for the next gen consoles with this one.
Should play it on PC. It’s literally the best racing game on PC,and with multi class coming next month, all be it GT4’s, it’s only gonna get better! The graphics sounds and physics are all top tier

it's not capped at anything on PC. Only on consoles. A gtx 1070 gets stable 60fps on 1080p (epic settings) for me though. Just fyi.
First sim where I'm enjoying racing online. My only problem so far is its over saturated with Silverstone and it takes for ever to get the safety rating for competitive
So much better to watch than the F1 games.

Play it on PC it's got a lot more content because at least version 1.4 were console is 1.3.7
Please shout me out in your next video for new things that should be in f1 2021 slow punctures and in carear have where you start in a 2 year old car then every 2 year in carear mode you go to the next years car
I played it on xbox, dont understand the hate i think it runs and looks really really good.
It’s the ffb that’s the problem. Graphics look really good but there’s essentially no feedback through the wheel. So far the best car is the 2019 488 which has decent feedback. In comparison to the standard AC the ffb is far worse which is why people are so annoyed, especially as it’s so good on PS4 and PC.
For GT3 cars there's literally nothing better and all the actual drivers who race in the blancpain GT series say it's pretty spot on.
