She will be in Sonic Movie 3 because Paramount will have one new character in the actual movie and one in the post-credits. And, like I said, Amy appearing only in the post-credits is unlikely. She needs to be in the third movie and have a small, but independent, role. And if someone has to be in the post-credits, it needs to be Metal Sonic. If it's said that Amy will have a big role in Sonic Movie 4, then she really needs to be in Sonic Movie 3 and have a small, but independent, role. That's the best way to establish her for the next movies. There has to be a Sonic Movie 3 prequel comic before the third movie's release which would show that Amy is on earth and she heard that Team Sonic are on a mission to stop Shadow and she would like to join them. This prequel comic also needs to explain how Dr. Eggman survived the fall and how did he became fat. Sonic Movie 2 also got a prequel comic before its release.
At the very end sonic says this ends now there's little dots of colors. Those are the emeralds they're probably fighting over it. I think in this part they're both gonna go to super shadow supersonic.

It wasnt, it was the eclipse cannon from sonic adventure two, that beam was used to cut the moon on half, no metal sonic. They diddnt show knuckles in the end credits scene so metal sonic could be a hidden character in another film, and it would fit with amys appearence.
