I received these as part of an advent yarn calendar last year - no more fiddly threading of yarn through my stitches - I love them!
They’re really handy!
I have them and they are amazing. You can even tie a knot in them when holding stitches ie for sleeves to be extra safe Learned that from experience as I pulled one off by accident (sat on it) so now I always knot them now
Love barber cord, works great for provisional cast ons too😊
Do you get several different sizes? Is one size pretty versatile?
There are a few different lengths in the tub.
Talk about a fast response! Thank you. I will certainly try to stay abreast of your knitting videos.
How would you use it to avoid picking up for button band, but have the cord vertically with live stitches?
I haven’t done that before. You could possible wrap at the edge but you’d need to adjust as you won’t pick up every row or every other row.
I agree with everyone, they're a brilliant 'invention'. My one criticism though is their very strong smell, somewhat overpowering. I wish someone had a suggestion as to how to remove it 😊
I thik it's the factory smell? I would recommend taking them out of their box and allowing them to be in the air, but the smell will only disappear with use and time I think.
