Tablesaw finger-saving featherboard!

  • This featherboard is easy to make and keeps my fingers well away from the blade. It pushed the workpiece hard towards the fence and down onto the table at the same time, thanks to the angled feathers.
    You can just clamp it to the table if you wish, but I've mounted mine onto my secondary fence which makes it very easy to adjust.

    Useful things to make. One point - I fully understand why for safety reasons you are stopping the saw at the end of every cut, but if your saw is a single phase induction motor then it won't do the capacitors any favours.
