Love your branching out!
Whatever happened to: Terri Walker, Shola Ama, Jamelia and Kele LeRoc could be an interesting continuation to your UK/European videos.
I love Estelle. Not only did she make a bunch of good music, she is one of the most iconic voices in American animation . No one else could be Garnett
Alot of UK artists don't have popularity in America some do but not alot they huge over in the UK
There is something about Estelle that brings out a powerful emotional feeling in me ...I can't explain what it is ...God bless her tho
Lover's Rock is a great album, some of her songs of that album is still in my playlist
Can you please do one on Raphel Sadik, Music Soulchild or Adina Howard..!!
@Dashia James This is a really good set list for short bios on these Artist...great idea!👍👍👍
@@brittneybutler2491: Thanks..!!
What About Eamon
@@brittneybutler2491 Adina Howard kinda messed things up for herself in the industry when she was fighting over Wanya Morris from Boyz II Men while he was dating Brandy. An executive told her not to mess with thg him and she had some choice words for that executive and wondered why her projects were permanently shelved at that record label.👀👀👀👀👀👀 That was revealed on the t.v. show Unsung when they featured her.
@@HONEY4112002 Oh yeah, I remember hearing about that, that is something else and sad.😰😲😓😟
It’s always good to be yourself. Never allow the industry to change who you are.
3stelle has a whole new fan base These kids know her as Garnet from Steven universe
Thank you was a 🔥🔥🔥track ... Got me through some tough moments.
Can you do one on Cleopatra Coming At Ya
Oh my...i remember those ladies!
One of these channels did one on them.
Can do a video about what happened to chrisette michele ?
trump and r&b divas...the end
@@beeoliver4636 🤣🤣😂😂Right!! #thatpart 💯🎯 The End!!
She got black balled after she performed at Trumps annarguation.
@Michele Thomas but why? Kanye's career is not over. Lil Wayne career is not over
@@Saturndragonfly Chrisette was never as popular as Wayne or Kanye. She had not crossed over to the mainstream and was actually in a downturn in her career when she decided to perform for Trump. She effectively alienated her main fanbase(Black women) while Wayne and Kanye have a more diverse set of fans(ie non black folks) not willing to stop supporting them.
I saw her performance a few times she puts on a great show. Very talented
I love Estelle. I think she’s phenomenal. I’d like to see one on Heather Headley too!
UPDATE:::::::: She is on great show Netflix series Sweet Magnolias. She acts so good you forget she started out in Music.
Ummmmm that's totally Heather Headley who is absolutely amazing. Broadway star, singer, songwriter, actor, producer, etc.
The person in Sweet Magnolias is Heather Headley.
@@discoveringhealthandfinanc8328 thanks 🤫😂😂😂😂 they look so much alike I always skip the intro and credits
nothing "HAPPENED" to Estelle ... in 2018 she released a REGGAE album ... it's called LOVERS ROCK ... lead single was a collab with reggae star TARRUS RILEY ... and it's a VERY good album ... even has collab with African artists ... go and listen and enjoy ESTELLE showcasing her versatility .
Salute to the gifted Empress.
you'd forgot to mention her best album 'True Romance'!!! 😭
She's now Garnett in Steven's Universe.
I get so sick of the color shit and speaking voice love it
Damn, I miss her. I loved her song American Boy. I always wondered what happened to her too. Seems like creating your own record label is career suicide sometimes lol. So many people I loved created their own then faded away.
Come over was her best song to me
i LOVE estelle ahhhh
i still listen too her... all her songs. everyday. since i was 12.
my favorite is speak ya mind.
and then i watched steven universe, and was like w h a t? that’s estelle
so like...
That American Boy single pulled her out of the shadows. But the song Thank You is her best. And the cameo with De La Soul (Memories Of...) is outstanding.
dunno why people have suvh an issue with melanin... like... you see that lady? she gorgeous!! and talented!!
When I sit down with my son and watch “Steven Universe” with him I explain that I used to listen to his favorite character “Garnet” back in the days he asked me if she has a white twin sister 🤣🤣🤣. I told him no she doesn’t but she still sounds amazing and I let him listen to Estelle and he actually like it. I always loved her lips and used to fantasize about kissing her, and I love her accent I think it’s so so so so sexy
I loved American Boy, such a great song! I also loved her as Garnet on Steven Universe
I remember the "American boy" song ... One of my favorites!
You should do one on the boys, another bad Creation, Cleopatra the female group, Kut Klose.
Kut Klose is back home in Alabama G. Lol. At least one of them is I know.
Good stuff as always. Whatever happened to Yvette Michelle?
These videos are great
